Wow, I guess were lucky more of the Team Japan guys don't like 3D

This chip if benchable with a real card would destroy everything. Maybe they might get some interest being here, and even if they don't get that interested, it sure would be fun to see a few runs behind this powerhouse.

What do you think PRTeamJapan, can you coax them to give it a go?

Don't bring them on bad ideas, otherwise we'll left no chance to have #1 spots

Yet another amazing SPi results from Japan. Keep it going

yes it was one very difficult score to beat. He was one of the first to use GraniteBay board and fairly high FSB w/ DualChannel DDR.
But back then P5T-533C+TurboPLL+RDRAM was the king thou
182 4X (plus a bit higher card speed) did the job.

Thank you so much macci for your compliment and reminder of the past dead heat...

Kyosen, one of our core members and also a XS member, is actually all round OCer in our team.
But he has been under hybernation for a good personal reason since early this year though he was the one to show us how to modify CT-479.

Anyway, we are hoping he will be back shortly...

    Cheers

Sorry, may be my wording mislead you...
There are OCers certainly do bench 3D but it happened to be not the ones with Dothan atm.
As I said before, they are striving deep into what they want to achieve-- 18's SuperPI 1M

Yeah that was way cool. I clearly remember since I was using the same mem as you. Samsung PC1200(PC1600) RD-ram which could quite easily get close to 200fsb only problem was the mobo's. My plan was originally to do a copy of your home-made PLL but i never got that far, yet it was enough for me to take the danish record for some time.

*edit* something tells that there was to good Abit RD-ram boards at the time.. just cant remember the name

    Ahh good times LOL

Dothan 780ES under aircooling @ room temp 25.7C without air-condition.
Set up details to be followed later.

BTW, thank you so much bigtoe for your presentation of new 023 beta bios to us. It surely fixed multi option according to memesama.

Stay tuned as we will see his SuperPI results under LN2 this weekend.....
