You asked for it! 4x512mb Redline

running 2x PC3500 redline and 2x PC4000 redline till I get some other kits
of course 2t(but haven't tried 1t-just don't think it will work)

    see pic-----good stuff.

    X2=butter cpu
    1GB Redline at 250= butter
2GB Redline at 250 tight timings=movie popcorn I can hear myself getting fatter butter.

Nice job as usual JNav ,
BTW, it seems as if running 2t significantly reduces performance. I was digging through some old screenies and came across one with one of my 4600+'s running my G.Skill FF's with tight timings:

run 2x instances and come back
    eheh!

but yeah I'm not saying 2t doesn't take a hit. Reason I'm trying this is b/c I see alot of people asking for benches. This is untweaked bios as of yet. Just set cas, trp, trcd. tras to manual 2-2-2-6 and rest to auto just to start tune.

Obviously, 2t isn't gonna help, but overall for gaming you might see some advantages on WOW and HL2 etc...

Hard to quantify though. That's the main disadvantage. I can tell OS is smoother etc... but on the butt-o-meter prolly it's hard to say how much faster.

Just giving some info for those who care!

btw Corona Light tastes better after oc'ing

JNav89GT you can enable CPC using A64 Tweaker, it will simply freeze the comp if not able to run 1t.

Thanks for sharing the info BTW.

I have 4x512mb G.Skill TCCD and 4x512mb G.Skill UTT I'm going to try. I'm going to use 2gig in my server (probably the TCCD) don't really care if I have to run at 2t I don't think it will make that big of a difference and I definetly think 2gig would be sweet.

Don't bother with 1T, I tried 4x512MB XP4000 and can't even run it at 200.....it simply will not post, only get long beep, changing slots and use different bios didn't do squat.

i don't run tras lower than 6 due to risk of data corruption.

    Cas 1.5 might work though
    will try later.

I had already tried that, including 1.5-2-2-0, 2-2-2-0 and 2-2-2-2, found absolutely no gain, it also hinder stability and inconsistant benchmarks, that's why I rather stick with 2-2-2-6 or 2-2-2-5.

higher tras is faster (when you talk about extremely low tras anyways). You never want it below 6, usually between 7 and 11 is the best you gotta just find the right spot, and this isn't due to stability it's due to speed.
