    Go to the Asus website to get drivers, bios, utilities.

    Just look at the menu across the top - ASUS

    The link is very slow and may not take you exactly where I was sending you - Asus is busy You may have to find your way
    UNDER THE ICE .com
    Phase Change Cooling

    is the remedy

    But i think the info on the different supported boards is confusing. How are multiplier adjustments on the P4P800SE for example? What about making a consistent list of info, like this (example):

    Vcore = Up to 1.8V
    Vdimm = Up to 2.85V
    Multi = 6 - CPU-MAX

    And repeated in on all the boards. I see alot of users confused about what board to get, if the P4P800-E DLX is better than the P4P800SE and such questions
    No multis in bios with p4p800se. Also Vcore is 1.6 max in bios.

    I have 2x thermochill 120.2 and a mcp650 pump.
    the 6800gt has a nv68 on it so it runs a lot cooler too.

    the system would be quiet if it was not for the high pitch wine of the mcp650
    but the way my rads are built into the base of the case i plan to noise insulate around them with he pump in the middle.

    rads in case

    I have a feeling that it wont go much higher from what i am seeing here once thay hit that wall thats it but it will be fun to try.

You need to adjust the multi using a Windows utility. CPUMSR works for me, haven't gotten EIST to work (anybody? Bueller?).

    Sweet! Nice frriggin price too. Gotta love auctions. Come to think of it, I still have my TEC sitting around, but with a Vapo and a cascade, what's the point? N/B?

    You should have no probs cooling that with a 120x2 fan raddy, since that's about 200 watts. It will give off some heat to the room though, 'specially if you have a hot video card (Jesus H those 6800s are hot). And damn, I just noticed how much friggin' heat HDDs give off, since they are all sitting outside of my case now.

    One sweet thing Lee, your system should be high performance but also very quiet.

    By "never" you mean in its 478 incarnation?

    I don't see why they couldn't at some point, since all of these P4Ps seem to be able to digest any P4P bios...

I was having some trouble locating the chipset drivers (that worked) and the audio drivers. I went to intel.com and downloaded some for the 875p, but those didn't work for some reason. Any help would be appreciated. Also, dunno if its the board or what, but it was having a lot of trouble reading the lite-on dvd drive and my WD 160gb HD. Thanks again
    Easiest way to obtain working software for your P4C800-E board is to grab them here in the download section.

    It boots at 201 and is rock solid at 240 (x10) right this moment.

    Thanks
    So you can boot at 201 now? Thought you couldnt boot past 155?

    Yeah, anything between 153 and 176 does not boot.

    201 seems to be working fine.

    2.4 is no problem with multiplier at 10 or 12.

    Haven't tried to go any further than 240 in clockgen. I'm scared

    gclg,

    What cooling are you running to get the 3ghz clock? Is that a 24x7 stable clock or just benching speed?

    I've done some testing recently.. and i would say that the results are not too shabby.. Using a PM 750, on a P4C800-E dlx fully modded, with the simple U-wire mod, Eist to increase multiplier, clockgen to increase fsb. Using the 1022.003 bios.. And of course... an OVERKLOKK modded Mach II with Chilly1 Evap...

    After trying to figure out what to insulate with, and how to get it 100%, we just said f**k it, and used vaseline... works like a charm... The hooks are some ceiling hooks, slightly modded, works perfect..
    My plan was to post some 3d mark 01 results.. butr unfortunatly i just killed my x800xt pe last night, so i guess that will have to wail till tomorrow, when my new x800xt pe arrives... Managed 36k last night with stock speed on the video card.. but unfortunatly no pics

    Question

    I am having some AGP lock issues on the P4P800SE with my X800 XTPE, despite booting at 200. Anyone know a workaround?

    I'm ready to murder.
