Komplett have the same dates but they are selling the 4400+ for £390! almost £40 cheaper than most places. £6.00 for P&P.

Is that the RRP excluding VAT @17.5%? If so the total cost would be over 450ukp.

can someone verify this for me. my x2 4400 is pretty good. i got it at 11x255 right now for 2.8Ghz. cpu0 or core 1 is great. it will pass prime95 for hours no problem. cpu1 or core 2 sucks as it can't even pass the 1st iteration in prime95. is it correct to say that chances are alot of dual cores have bad core 2? i can play games on cpu0 by changing the affinity and it would be fine. if i change affinity to cpu1 to play games, instant crashes . i also tried aquamark 2k3 and 3dmark 2k5 with affinity set to both cpus, aquamark passes, but 3dmark fails half way thru. i'm running a pair of g.skill pc3200 and my vcore is set at 1.55. man i would love to have two good cores instead of 1 good and 1 bad .

Most X2's are like this. My 2nd was closer. If you can, rma and try another. it may be worth it. If your reseller won't, AMD still might. Give it a try.

i have a 5000 black edition @ 3.2, 14x230, 1.425vcore. it will run orthos for hours at this setting. the ram is running 4x1gb 940mhz 4-4-4-10.

if i put it @ 3.2 only using multi (16x200) and ram 4x1gb 800mhz 4-4-4-10 it errors out in orthos right away.

now i know different combinations will work, like say you set it to 3.2 using all multi's between 10 and 16, some might be stable and some not, but shouldnt a 16 multi with no other overclocking be stable? maybe its gettin too much volts since im not overclocking anything else im not too concerned about it, as i would rather run at my settings than 16x200 but i was just curious. its makin me think i should go back and try all multi's to get to 3.3 and see if any can be stable.

Sounds good! I have it pre-ordered both from Monarch and a smaller place called Tank Guys, and will keep which ever order comes in first. I have also heard Newegg is supposed to start selling them on the 15th, so I may order from there as Tank Guys says the 18th and Monarch says the 16th. I already have my RAM, and have an X800XL to hold me over until the G70 is released.

What CPU do you have now? Or is this your first build with the SN25P? I have a 3800+ Venice that won't run stable past 2.52GHZ (1.45V). I try putting more juice into it, but I get nothing from it, as Prime fails instantly. I have my RAM underclocked and everything, HTT at 4, and my temps are pretty good. Hopefully the new CPU and RAM will prove to be a little more friendly to overclocking.
