Welcome to XS KenLau and all I can say is WOW. Nice results on air! Have you run any stability tests on it? At what speed? And what are your temps at the Vcore and air?????

Thought I'd throw my results in (sorry, no pics ATM, I'm at work....shhhh).

    3000+ LBBLE, 0516 GPBW
    2.6@ stock (approx. 1.38volts)
    2.7@ 1.45
    2.8@ 1.57
    Currently @ 2.835 (315x9) @ 1.6...still testing
    Above results on Neo2 and XP-90...superpi / 3dmark stable
Was waiting for a San Diego but saw this retail at a local Pcclub store and couldn't resist.
Seems to be middle of the road for Venice core. Though, not bad for week 16 in particular.

This is not the ceiling of this chip either, will post another update after some more Priming/Burning.

Thats is the only screen shot I have for 1.4v @ 2800, but if u need one with more Prime time heres one at 1.55v @ 2800 for 19 hours
Hey D3kMatrix, what are your temps like?? I have the same one and for some reason I am getting around 55is C with my ThermalTake Tower112 which is weird and also, my cpu doesnt not seem to be stable at 250x10...any input on what settings i should use?? Thanks

EDIT: I got same RAM as you too, so I know its not an issue..

Like everyone else I suppose, I would have really loved to find a 0515 APAW. The PCclub I was at had LBBID 0509 APAWs,....pretty sure these would have sucked like most CBBID winnies. The only APAWs I've ever seen in person...lol.

I've been out of the CPU loop for a while. I currently have a 3500 Winchester that OCs to 2.4 GHz on air. I'm wondering if I should go to a San Diego or Venice? What are the major differences between the two?

The main reason I want to get a Venice or SD is because I want to go to 2GB of RAM.

I've seen both venices and San diegos OC quite nicely......the main difference is of course diegos having 1mb L2 cache, venices only having 512kb.....don't believe a 3200+ san diego exists though so you're saving a chunk of money OC'ing a 3200 or even 3000+ venice to nice speeds comparing to going with I believe the 3500+ is the lowest diego offered.

Decided to post my pic for the hell of it I can't use it now though......gotta wait for the DFI nf3 socket939 board to be released or sell my 6800GT AGP and go PCI-E

Should I stick with my 3500 Winnie or go with a Venice or Diego (my Winnie OCs from 2.2 to 2.4 GHz)?

Also, should I go with 2x1024 of OCZ PC3200 (2-3-2-5)? Would it run at DDR400/1T?

there's a lot of factors: ram, ram timings, DIMM slots used, PSU, dividers, mobo, bios version, cooling

It's nice to see you finally found a good one, after your Winchester "disaster cpu's".
