8RDA owners - which memory slots work best?

I only have one stick of ram to test with right now, but DIMM slots 1 and 3 seem to be able to take my ram higher than DIMM slot 2 (200 fsb for 1 & 3 vs. 195 for 2). Anyone else tested this? And if you can get 200 out of two DIMM slots separately, can you still get 200 when they're both populated?

Odd, because I can get better FSB with DIMM2, the one closest to CPU socket. It's a significant difference in FSB too, not like 3 or 4 mhz.

Crap, I just looked and I was mistaken about the DIMM numbers!

It's 1 and 2 that do better for me, 3 is the laggard!

Bushboy, if not 3-4 mhz, how much?

Guys, its labelled DIMM0 -> 2 (right to left).

Bravo, it's not labelled like that on my board. On mine it goes 2 | 3 | 1 (left to right), or 1 | 3 | 2 (right to left)

However, DIMMS 2 and 3 are BANK 1 and DIMM 1 is BANK 0.

Outer as in the furthest left slot and the furthest right slot, forgoing the middle slot? If so, that's DIMM 2 (left side) and DIMM 1 (right side).

I get about a 10mhz difference for whatever reason, and also seem to be able to run at tighter timings. This was before I did the VDD mod though, but I haven't been bothered to try DIMM1.

    Ykalon,

I think Radea was making a joke (and meant to say "loser", not "looser")
