Smile XP1700 B in stock in Hong Kong

    JIUCB green chips.

    I just bought one and did a few quick runs with a Volcano 7. 2GHZ @1.6V, 2.2GHZ@1.85V, both 3DMarkable.

With better cooling and more volts these puppies should fly.

The importer here has 15 chips left. I am willingly to buy them for the boys at Xtreme if there is demand. Cost is $55.75 each to me and to save shipping cost I can send them in one lot to one person in the US who can then mail them out.

If you want them, better hurry and let me know.

    Wow, what a great chip!

I have found the same stepping 1700+ Tbred here in Canada, at a store downtown Toronto. The store has three in stock. The price was $90 Canadian.

OK here's the deal. Hardass has generously agreed to help out. As soon as we get 10 firm commitments, I'll go ahead and purchase the chips. They will be sent by Speedpost to Hardass who will forward them to individual members. The cost will be $55.50 for the chip plus $1.50 for Speedpost plus shipping from Florida to final destination. Please post your firm commitment here and also PM him your shipping address and he can give you your total cost. Paypal him the money and the chip will be shipped to you.

Due to the limited supply in Hong Kong we do need all the firm commitments within 24 hours or the chips may be gone. First come, first served.

I'd be keen to get one or two, but I'm in Australia. DDTUNG, is there any chance of getting a few sent here?

I'd be delighted to send anywhere. The question is shipping cost.

PS Just checked Speedpost to Australia costs US$13 for 0.5kg.

    I'd love one

Edit: Shipping is very cheap from the US to other countries for 1 CPU. I sent 1 memory module to slovenia & 1 cpu to Finland in the past weeks & neither was over $2.50 shipping

This is because they're very light & can be packaged in a simple bubble envelope

Cool. Well if that's the case, then I suppose I could be counted in the order sent to the US - as long as you don't mind Hardass. I'll pay the extra few $s quite happily

Thanks. I'm actually waiting for a PM response from Bravo. If he is the same Bravo from Overclockers Aust, then I might be able to work something out with him, as we're both in Oz.

    DDTUNG,
US$13 Speedpost to Australia sounds pretty good. It would be good if a couple of Aussies joined me though, so I could split the postage. Put me down for one though, as even if noone else buys one, I don't mind paying $US13 to get it here.

    Cheers,
    dojobi

You guys should try looking around locally too, I mean, I found them locally in bloody Canada where good stuff takes awhile to reach.

Local ain't an option for me. No PC stores round here for some reason. Perhaps I should change that? :p

    septimus,
Australia's no better than Canada. I'd say I won't be able to get something like this for at least a month.

Having said that though, they'll probably turn up on Monday

Septimus...what store in Toronto? I'm in Hamilton and would love to find a Tbred B. Thanks.
As quoted by LowRun......"So, we are one week past AMD's worst case scenario for BD's availability but they don't feel like communicating about the delay, I suppose AMD must be removed from the reliable sources list for AMD's products launch dates"

I would be interested in one as well. Would like more information concerning the stepping and week etc. From what i have been told the 1700+'s that a friend of mine has tested havent done to well. To see one doing 2 GHZ at 1.6 volts is amazeing to say the least

    thanks

DD, got a PM from dojobi about purchasing a chip with me.

I would be happy to have him DD the money to me, me write up a money order to send to you, and you post to me in a single package (and forward to him via domestic post).

Count us as a single person buying 2 chips, and thanks mate

    EDIT:

Btw, if your having problems filling out this order, i would be happy to buy another CPU for my cousin (figure birthday present )

Ok, if the guy in Hong Kong will ship 10 to the US, I can pay PayPal and get it shipped to Sweden? Please? :-)

I would like 2 CPUs if possible.
