Crap, they are actually in stock over at Overclockers!! What a price though. Literally double the cost of my 3700!! More!!

Overclockers don't usually lie about their stock status either. Who's gonna go for it then?

haha, overclockers dont' lie about stock status, loads of stuff doesn't turn up when they say it should. they constantly talk about shipments "being stuck in customs so a small delay", yes this is true, sometimes, but not all the time. its a very good method, say your stock is in sooner than anyone else and they get the pre-orders, very few people can be bothered to cancel order when they are delayed , especially since contacting them is getting harder and harder.

either way, i'm happy with my 3700+ for now, and when the 4400+ is available thats my next cpu, though i'm tempted to get one, play with it for a couple weeks, bench it and sell it on.

for the UK folk. scan have started listing them as well. priced about £30 less than overclockers ( £586 to ocuk's £616 ). sadly no word of when stock is due tho.

i'm tempted, really tempted, fancy another FX, just don't want to be first.

Drunkenmaster is really right about Overclockers UK. What kind of company that is trying very hard to make their sales people uncontactable for the customers. They don't want to receive emails anymore but the telephone line is so hard to get through. And, fax is never replied. They used to be better!!!

Dabs had one on order earlier today and now says 0 in stock so some guy is now a lucky owner of an SD FX-55 or he cancelled his order .

    http://www.dabs.com/uk/channels/comp...quicklinx=3P70

    Cheaper price too, £550.

I still think it is better to wait for FX-57.

    Regards

i never buy gear from overclockers.co.uk anymore and i use the chance to burn their reputation with every chance i get.

their CS is quite pathetic ....eg i had a order for well over £1000 which had some kind of billing problem, well i could never get through to them on the phone and they had cut the email so the only way to contact them was thru fax. so i never bothered to chase it up and they never tried to contact me even when they had my home+mobile no. and my email address......hilarious.

another store got my business and i continue with them for nearly everything and totally avoid that 'other' store completly - and i'm not alone.
