Wonder if the R520 cards will be superflat, otherwise I can't see 2 cards going in there.
Looks like the camera angle that makes it look like the lack of room betwen the slots.
Whats so funny?
Wow... If ATI really releases their multiple VPU boards with the slots so close together, they are droppin the Ball BIG TIME.
looks like the distance between the two slots is the same as between two pci slots... im confused about how ati wants to stick two cards in that board as well
the r520 prototype had a bigger hsf than the x850, same design but longer copper fins... how is it supposed to fit in there?
edit: wait a second that pic is BS its a 939 socket with a pentium 4 logo. and if you look at the pic of it lying down there is no second x16 slot

When i'm being paid i always do my job through.
looks like a fake to me....not bad for a photoshop job though.
the pic is a fake (notice distance at beginning and end of SLI PCI-E slots).
All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.
that's the first thing i noticed...Originally Posted by Wiggy McShades

Um, that board does NOT exist in reality as far as I know. Slot spacing is horrible. Not to mention it's the wrong color.![]()

In fact, it's a photoshoped Gruper mobo. They've copied the PCIE16 slot, but since the original is partly hidden behind the audio connector the copied PCIE16 looks like someone took a bite of it! Besides, they're not even parallel.
Edit: That's old news in the Gruper thread, I just saw it.
