    x600xt challenge

The Challenge - I prefer air, but you may use water - I'll use water + evt. 80W TEC if you're too good

    2. First to thrash 5700 in 3Mark03

    4. Top of The List in 01, 03, 05 by the 1st of JUNE

    5. Cherry Pick - First one to surpass 25,000 points in 01SE (if its possible) gets a bouquet from me personally

Glad to hear it - though with your luck I am scared what I'm up against Not to mention FX-55 and Vapochill LS

    First 03 run: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=3947996

Having terrible throttling problems at the moment When above the 620 range on the core and above 450 range on ram card randomly throttles back to 500/350.

Both using Radlinker and RivaTuner Looks like I'll have to resort to water sooner than I wished to

    Trifecta!

Indeed. Minor improvement in 03: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=3950337

    Minor improvement in 05 : http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=830228 - getting there

    New score in 01 : http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8562515

    NEW TRIFECTA!

What amazed me was the goo Ati put on the card as "thermal paste". I wanted to change it with AS5, but lo behold, the goo felt like normal chewing gum! I had to use cleaning benzine and isoprophyl alcohol to get rid of it.

Nonetheless, should give me some more mhz on the core Will mount water later next week.

Screens below. Shame althes pulled his score, now he'll take me down for 05 I'm sure

Sounds like you are having fun with the X600XT , good luck !

What actually is an X600XT, is it a suped up 9600 ? I'm a bit dumb when it comes to Ati sometimes ...

    Regards

Good althes. The 6515 drivers gave a few points boost btw., though not worth publishing. Evt. check out screens.

Have to mount the water soon, 621 / 452 is the max the card will go really At least now it's stable in all benches.

I have a feeling that my Trifecta will be taken down very very quickly, my back up scores are not high enough to challenge your 639 / 460 possibilities in 05

Hmm... I'm in with Sapphire card (never even tried to overclock it, hehe)...

Though I propose to give a lil' bit bigger time scale - i.e. up to 30th of May. 6 days isn't enough for a challenge IMO.

Can't upload my anything either, with more testing, 6525 is the best.

btw. are you using another card or what? The user email is different. Please write in a NAME to ensure it is you, not just "XS.org"

    Very nice!

I don't think there is any 100% of anyone dominating, as even 01 we are all GPU limited, though a good CPU will help of course. Getting a good clocking card is more important! Of course 256mb is a plus

Depending how well my card does after I mount the water (the TEC I have to cut into the neoprene, as I have 2 caps in the way).

edit - saw your name althes :e ROFL :e

I guess gocchin will hit about... - 25000-27000 marks... Depending if he choices to use Win2k or winxp

    01SE is VERY CPU/mem based... - I gained about 1500 marks by raising corespeed 92 mhz !! - And gfx-mem 84mhz

    - 12k

This is a x600xt, or basically a PC ICE 9600xt. It is only CPU dependent if it is not limited by GFX, which it is.

WR with 9600xt with DI is 20100. So dream on. If he breaks the 21000 marks I will send him a postcard saying congrats.

Hmm, my bad, fought it was somewhere near 9500 - But... Still... 25000 should be doable... - The performance leep by using win2k instead of WinXP will up the score 1,2k or such... - And.. If my memory aint totally wasted... Gocchin got quite a CPU :P 600 mhz faster, and... FX class...

Don't think its anywhere near possible, the 6600 vanilla cards have enough trouble with that. When proshop-direkte sends my new drive I'll be smoking win2k as well

Gocchin, if you beat the 25K mark I will send you a bouquet of flowers
