If you use DFI Nf4 JUMPER to use 3.3~4V, please pay attention.

    DDR533 2 2-2-2 Prime95 Warm Up

    Just a simple run

Of course using DFI LP nF4

DFI RDs are so great to design 2 steps DRAM voltage
    2.5~3.2V
    3.3~4V
But you need JUMP17 to adjust it.

Even you save a big money for buying special POWER and module to make DRAM run over 3.3V, however, please be careful the temperature as motherboard user manual mentioned – when you use JUMP17, please strengthen surround cooling.

Before using JUMP17, set it as 3.2V, the software display 3.07V, running P95 5 minutes later the temperature as shown below:

After using JUMP17, set it as 3.2V, the software display 3.07V, running P95 5 minutes later (Room Temperature is 20 degree C)
Actually this value is I stick on Mosfet heat sink.
If I stick on Mosfet, the value will break 100...

As DFI said, the surrounding capacitors and resistors are high thermal endurance.
When you use Winbond memory chip with ultra high voltage, please consider the motherboard cooling first, then is memory.
DDR533 optimization is making feeling great...

windwithme, thats mainly as the mosfet drops voltage from 5v line, and at only 3.02v its dropping a crapload of voltage and all it does is give out the extra voltage as heat. so at 3.6v you are using a lot more of the voltage and the mosfets get a lot less hot. mem will get hotter though. and at 4v again the mosfets would be even cooler. the lowest settings with 4v jumper are the worst to use, and likely most unstable due to that heat. i'd say very first boot you want to be changing it to at least 3.4v, then IMHO theres very little memory that can take 3.4v but can't take 3.6/3.7v safely as long as you got a fan placed over it.

^-- yes please. I was wondering if higher vdimm might result in lower mobo temp as well.

My ram needs 3.3v to do 245 @ 2-2-8-2-12-16-2-2-2-2 . SO I HAVE TO UES JUST 3.3v, 3.4v errors mostly everwere and you cant get that without the 4v jumper.

So i got the jumper 17 on 4v BUT. i dout my mosfets even get close to 30c during load. I feel them after about an hour of game'n and they still bearly warm to touch. i mean i can't really feel any heat on my mosfets.

    Peace Nugz

Is it possible to give 3.5v with the 3.3 jumper and a modded 3.3v rail? (like with the dfi nf3)

weird, though only through software with jumper running voltage from the 3.3v line I get 3.28 when set to 3.2v. I get a nice little overvolt it seems.

So long as you got a fan of any sort blowing on it then you're fine guys. Just don't let it start to get over 100C, certainly not for 24/7 running.

As Jump17 set as 3.3~4v, even BIOS setting is 2.7V, the mobo Mosfet is still over 100 degree C...
