i hope this isnt too OT, but when using RAM like this on the DFI boards, while the RAM will run hotter with more volts, the actual MOSFET area of the board will run cooler due to more of the 5v line being pumped directly into the RAM, correct? I'm jsut trying to debate what the tradeoff is and how risky it would be to run memory like this up around 3.7-3.8+ volts in a 24/7 setting, even with good memory and board cooling.

Is it doable, or should I only consider this stuff for benching runs? also, I wanna know how much these things cost!!!

What makes you think this stuff is bh5-utt? Because old bh5 did better than ch5? Honestly, there's a huge amount things on those modules which affects overclockability, the chips are not the only one.

I think this is again a scenario where they can't tell (remember when OCZ VX hit the market)

Already 2 persons said it was 'new bh5', that is to say UTT-BH5 or RevB-UTT. But no one confirm it really, I'd like to get this clear.

I never saw anyone benching SPI 1M @ 277MHz dual1024. I think the best I saw was 272 or 273MHz, one with UTT-CH5 and the other with 'old BH5'.

What suprise me is that VX got UTT-CH5 and for now they're the best 512MB sticks with tight timmings. I wonder if finaly UTT-BH5 would not be better than UTT-CH5.
But for now we do not have enough facts and we do not know how selected those sticks were.

There is 5MHz more that I ever saw - out of the two other kit 1 is also better than the best VX. Mushkin seams to take a different move than OCZ or GSkill, who both use UTT-BH5 @ 200SPD and OCZ prefer UTT-CH5 for 250SPD

No, I don't KNOW what the Redlines are... never removed the spreaders. I said my old Mushkin BLUES were UTT-BH5...
