    Duron 600+LN2 action

Me and a friend decided to participate in the swedish overclocking contest. So we got some LN2, made a canister to put on the cpu and so on. We used my Duron 600 and Abit KT7a(voltmodded) Without further ado here come some pics:

To reach 1521MHz we had to use 3V, pretty hefty To get the kind of current we had to use two power supplies at the same time, one 2*300W redundant server power supply and one 431W enermax (I think, maybe it was antec..)

Is this one of the highest OC:s on a duron 600?

Oh and by the way, we are preliminary winners in the contest, we filmed everything and hope it will do as evidence, the CPU died when we tried to get it higher so we cant reproduce the results with the same cpu

Yeah i know, next year we will be getting a better duron 600 i hope. The one i had could only do 1000MHz on air, 1133MHz or so with water and 2,2Vcore. Since there are duron 600:s that can do 1200MHz on air one of those would be a screamer with LN2

The goal of the contest was to get the highest overclock in percent. We got 154%, next year we will be trying to get 180% or so Oh... if they approve our results I will get a prometeia. Then I will use my current watercooling+peltier to cool my radeon 9700pro. Oh.. and I will be getting an XP2400+ soon

i wonder... that would be a good way to burn in a processor... first buy ln2 get whatever processor.. oc the crap outta of it with the ln2 running whatever burning in prog and then use it with aircooling etc at highest stable speed....

    would it be possible?

    damn... just imagine getting a 150% overclock on a 3.06 p4
I know it that will never work but 7.5 ghz would rock the community , even if it all died after the test :d

Man, this duron rests in the proud armies of KILLER-OC durons...

what would you choose? to go down serving a daytime job (duron in stupid i-net pc in non-ocer setup) or go down storming in the great bugattack of 2053 killing thousands of bugs and gettin commemorated with a 200 yard statue saying 'he died rescuing his planet' (duron in HMB's experiment )
