When you guys get a chance while testing that 3700+, can you run Prime95 Blend for even 2hrs? I'm just wondering how far down it will be needed to go to get that kind of stability? Will 2900MHz happen?

Like, I can do flip-flops in and slightly above 3GHz area with Winie but Prime95 stability stops @ 2.86GHz, two hours at least

    Thanks

At 1.7v I bet that chip would easily hit 3.4Ghz on a single stage. Thanks for the review Misteroadster.

For sure , those results aren't revolutionnary, but don't forget they're better than the results given by a 1000$ chips.
This one will cost approximatively 350$, imagine what the FX57 will have to give to be the king
This 3700+ could be any FX55 0.09 without any doubt.

Oh. I didn't know the voltage tolerance had changed so much from the Winchester core.

Even with the new smileys (for the worse of course ), I don't find a smiley that drools over 2 pages

Very very nice. If the price is indeed around the $350 in DK, I think I know where my pay check is going. Goodbye Wacken Open Air!
In short, both AMD and NVIDIA discovered that their next-generation graphics cards are superior to each others' last-generation graphics cards.

    Tolerance is about the same.

    -San diego 0505EPMW
    -My winnie 0448SPAW

Default SD vcore is 1.35V max benchable 1.55-56V= +0.2v
Default Winnies Vcore is 1.40 max benchable 1.60-61V= +0.2v

I have an 0448SMPW , so funny : increasing vcore is useless (+0.1Max =30Mhz lol) in aircooling but 2720 Rock Prime 1.4v

For $350, it's nice... and my 0448 FX went 3006mHz 3D stable on AIR with 15C ambient... so to me, 31xx on water is good, but not "breathtaking". Now, the FX57, the first FX on the 90nM platform, I expect to be a ROCKET. Either way, I have a 4000+ pre-ordered so I'll be able to play.

I thought the FX-57 share the same core as these San Diego no? if they are then I doubt the FX-57 would be that much(if any) better OC'er than the 3700 SD? But still...if 2.9 or 3.0 can be done on air then I still think it's mucho nice! infact, 700~800mhz gain is excellent! sure beat paying $1000 for the FX-57

Nice work there misterroadster... thanks for sharing

Remember Charlie, thats only one 3700+ they might clocked worse or better who knows. We would just have to see.

Im tempted by the San Deigo's but it would only be to buy a 4000+ or higher

I say compare the numbers on the 3700+ to the numbers from my Venice (now Bennah's) 3800+. I haven't got a chance to look through the link, but from what's being said here, it looks as if they're very similar in OC'd performance....

So what's the impact in terms of performance/benchmarks?
