It's going to happen this in NVIDIA office

some unofficial leaks...
X420XT is doing 15000+ in 3DMark03
X420Pro has the same performance as 6800Ultra
and X420SE falls between Radeon 9800XT and 6800 nu

As fas as IQ goes...the current image quality of Radeon 9800XT and 6800U is going to be a joke...

Mark my words...
I knew spec of NV40 and r420 for a long long time now, almost over 6 months...
I used to have different nick name, but laughed at me when I was saying that we are going to see 16 pipes cards, also i'm saying that r500 nv50 are going to have 512 mem bus with more than 24 pipes, + L1 and L2 cashe memory...

******This guy probably works for ATI and has made a different, anonymous name as not to lose his job. He was right on the x800xt being 16 pipes but people didnt take him seriously. It is logical that we will be going 512mb and 512 bit ram because we have had 256 bit since the 9700 pro and we must improve the bandwith area now. There are rumors that we may see a 512mb, 512 bit as the refresh of the nv40(nv45) and r420(r450) using possible higher clocks, pci-e and twice the ram bandwith. the r500 and nv50 will be new cores and if they are to improve on performance again, they must be 32 pipes. the non pro/ultra may be binned as 24 pipes. also about the cache, he may be talking about Edram or embedded ram. Small amounts, perhaps a meg or so, but insanely high bandwith and very fast. we will still be using the slower 512mb ram, but the ultra fast meg will sure speed things up. you guys can laugh at him, but its common sense.

8500--------> 9700 pro
9800xt-------->x800xt
r450(x900?)------>r500

any comments?
