    [ABIT] NF7-S vmod ddr+cpu need help!

    Hello all!
    i search a vmod for my abit nf7-s about v-ddr and v-cpu
    i search in the board who has the regulator and i find this

    it's the same regulator from the kg7-kr7-kx7...

    it is the same regulator from asus A7N8X

    i moded my motherboard


    whith a pot 50k


    whith a pot 20k

    but i have no good result
    the vcore up to 0.15v after the motherboard no boot :/
    and the vddr dont works
    i dont know who is the problem
    if you know that please help me

    Hmm, well, if you're saying it's not working, you should disconnect the mods, and then try booting it to see if it's fried... if it isn't, then boot it up w/o mods and get the ohmage's of the pins and post your results in here. That's what I would recommend at least--from there we (we being DDTUNG) could figure out what's going on.

    The NF7 has a different controller than most Abit's, least it looks that way to me. My v1.0 board has a HIP6301VCB on it (not a HIP6301CB) , pin 7 looks "normal" at 2.484K Ohms. Pin 10 is very low, with only 25.2 Ohms of resistance.

    You might try doing just the pin 7 mod to begin with, and see if you get any voltage changes.

    hello all
    my motherboard is dead after a vddr mod
    the vmod cpu works fine whith the help from sharpbw
    but the vmod ddr it is impossible to realise this
    it is the same mod to abit bd7 bd7-2 and be7 whith the winbond


    regulator in the be7




    R1-pot(ohms)........bios settings.............. vmem reel
    100.....................2.6V...................... ..2.86V
    100.....................2.7V...................... ..2.97V
    80......................2.5V...................... ..2.81V
    80......................2.7V...................... ..3.04V
    70......................2.5V...................... ..2.85V
    70......................2.6V...................... ..2.97V
    50......................2.5V...................... ..3.0V
    50......................2.6V...................... ..3.12V
    50......................2.7V...................... ..3.24V








    but this vmod iit's very very hard
