    Help needed in 2001 with a FX5900XT...

    before i reinstalled my win xp i got with an aopen 5900xt @495/805 23929 marks (klick)

    now i own another 5900xt, its from leadtek and has rare 2,2NS RAM. Can now bench at 535/930 without artifacts, but i only get 23532 Marks (klick) Look at that low nature score compared to my first result...

    whats the reason? I used the same rivatuner tweaks for both cards.... is that leadtek just so much slower in nature then my old aopen or is it my new win xp installation? (i am not sure if i used SP2 for my win xp the last time, perhaps this is the reason for this low nature score?)

    Maybe the bios for the Leadtek has slower ram timings??

    problem solved...

    the reason was that i did not install SP2 for WinXP with this installation...

    really really strange! all other gametests did not show changes but nature does...

    Thats cause you werent using LOD

    i used LOD for all gaming tests... i already said that i used the same settings...

    but for now 25062 3DMarks Number 8 in World Rating... not bad for a unmodded air cooled card

    think so... after i installed SP2 my nature score went up 40-50FPS... really strange...

    or was this card overheated the first time so it throttled down and made such a crappy nature score and after i installed SP2 the card cooled down and went up in FPS... ?!?!?
