    No, take it faster, just because we use a base 10 number system and hitting 200FSB happens to be a milestone don't stop there.

    That's pretty freakin' good. I've seen a 2.4b at 3.8, but 1200MHz is definitely not a bad OC for a Northwood. Back before Intel released the 800MHz Northwoods, I had a C1 stepping 2.4b that could only load the BIOS at 3.6GHz. Anything over 3.4 wasn't stable in windows. I was on the Abit BH7 (i845PE) with low-end custom watercooling though...I suppose the IC7 would probably make things a little more stable.

    What voltage are you using? Have you modded that board at all?

    First of all, what cooling are you using?
    Second, if it's not stable, what's that clock worth then? Kami-screen, peak-shots, whatever we call them, they don't say much what the CPU really can do. Get it stable first.

    I remember my old 2.4b, I could bench in PCMark and Sandra @ 186FSB (3360MHz) with simple watercooling but was only 100% stable at 3070MHz.

    2.4C's started with D1 stepping chips. Then came the M0's. The last Northwood "B" stepping was C1.

    If I recall the IC7 needs a few vmods before it starts to really shine. I know hipro wrote up a very extensive article on modding that board, and there should be a few threads in the vmod section as well. If you're willing to do the work, I think you'd be happy with the result, Srecko.

    Ok first of all Srecko:

    [size=3]WELCOME TO XS !!!!/size] :banana

    Secondly, that is an amazing OC Though the records here on ln2 exceed 4.5Ghz, that is still a very good overclock, all u have to do is find a stable oc that u can run for 24/7 THough please do post some SuperPi and Sandra mem shots that helps quite a bit...just edit the first post with the Shots.

    It's pretty decent, though I gotta admit it makes me miss my ol 2.26b. Sucker did 3933mhz Stable @ 1.60vcore on air cooling. This was more than a year ago if I remember right. Sad part is I didn't even sell it for a premium.

    On the other hand my c1 celly only does 2600mhz stable... so that's pretty decent if you ask me.

    It is likely your RAM, as you have to either set up a divider or OC it, and a lot of PC2100 RAM won't OC much at all.

    Do NOT run 1.9V without PC...air and it will die within a few months, maybe sooner.
