    Talking Anyone 4x 256MB BH-5 on DFI NF4 ?

Anyone here try 4x 256MB BH-5 sticks on DFI NF4 boards ? Just thought I'd try it before i sell off these 4 sticks (only selling within Australia)

    I'm testing 4x 256MB XMS3500C2v1.1 BH-5 on DFI NF4 SLI-D 331-3 bios with 3500+ CAA2C 0507 GPMW cpu and so far managed in memtest86+ 1.55.1

    200-235mhz 2-2-2-6 2T 7-14-2-2-1-2 with Bank Interleaving enabled at 3.2-3.35v vdimm

    11x 235mhz 2-2-2-6 2T 7-14-2-2-1-2 gives superpi 8M around 6min 03s and sandra buffered 5900 MB/s and Everesthome 6600ish

    at 11x 240mhz memtest test #5 freezes until i set cas2 to cas 2.5 for 240mhz 2.5-2-2-6 so 11x240mhz 2.5-2-2-6 7-14-2-2-1-2 with interleave enabled gives me 2788MB/s memtest bandwidth

i get same memtest freeze at test #5 at 11x245mhz 2.5-2-2-6, but so far looping test #5 at 11x243mhz 2.5-2-2-6 7-14-2-2-1-2 2T bank interleave enabled gives me 2822MB/s memtest bandwidth.

Anyone care to share their 4x stick experiences on DFI NF4 ?

Wondering what types of games you played that benefited from the 2gigs of ram. I'm thinking large maps and units type stuff like Rome: Total War? If Venice actually goes 4x512 1T maybe I can justify purchase based on better gameplay.

I think a big prob with 4x512 is the voltage dropping under load. I have seen my vdimm drop from 3.4v to 3.18v under load on my dfi nf4 with 4x512 @2-2-2-5-2t ram at 233mhz.

I sure hope that has something to do with your power supply!

Yes please. BTW - Seems like you got some "juice" with the guys at OCZ. Know anyone at AMD that can get you a Venice 3500 quick.
