Nice score ebola, time for Brandybuck to up the ante now !

Did the BIOS modm to see what my temps are for the 6600, goes to 64C during dragothic at 500/630 so not very good. Been constructing my watercooling today to see the difference.

    Regards

Got some 70°C on high load while i was on air cooling. Since watercooling, i got far less artifect in some case. Number of artefact grew while t° was raising, now with w/c all that crapp is gone

Have to do the Vmod GPU now, and attach a nice heatsink on RAM in order to feed them with 3.1V

Vmod done on VRAM. This give a big boost and big heating of chips. I'm currently running at 2.75V without heatsink at 743MHz instead of 693MHz at stock voltage that was 2.51V. I think that it's possible to reach 2.9V~3.0V with an insane cooling, which may give the possibility of raising up to 750~760Mhz

I should have done Vmod GPU but i just received new UTT sticks that perform even better than what i hoped, and have to test it

I just got a brilliant idea! No longer is my card "bad"

This is seriously lame. I'm thinking of getting a 6200, someone mentioned that there is a difference between cards? TC cards aren't 6600, but how to spot a 6200 that is in essence a 6600?

    Thanks

Well vmod for gpu on Sparkle 6600 AGP is PIN 4 of the SOP-14 APW7063 IC. Set VR to 10k aqnd work downwards as per normal.

Might be of use to some AGP 6200 users out there

Measuring point is on the back of the card, back of one of the green caps

    Regards

Nice score, petr lu, but why have you your cpu only at 2100mhz. It's not gonan do a big diffrens in 3dmark05 but you can get a little boost if you overclock it more.

Really nice see people pushing a 6200s so much

    Is that the 6200 128 or 256?

because I can get both for nothing here, €95

And you americans have it too cheap

In Europe, for €60 you get perhaps a X300SE, so €95 is great! ANd for €250 I can get a 6600GT TOP card! lol.

Is the 128MB 3.6ns and the 256MB 4ns or even 5ns ? If the same speed then 256Mb is obviously the one to go for, but with uch cheap cards my bet it will be 5ns, otherwise they will make no money.

Managed to squeeze out a 23k with my new 6600 ( the other one was dropped on the floor by some fumbling fool and I had to buy another one ) so back to #2 place in the 6600 class

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8515114

This one does better than the last, 560/700 completely stock with the memory not topped out yet ( I ran out of time last night ).

Gigi's 25k seems an awful long way away. I shall try 03 and 05 tonight with it.

This is a good fight at the top of the 6200 class, looks like iMax has the edge at present, have you any more juice Ebola ?
