    not booting at 295 fsb strange problems

    well I installed windows, went to bios set fsb to 9x295 just for start, ram diveder on 133, run memtest from cd, all OK, i try to boot in win no go doeasnt even start. I try everything again, same thing. now Im installing windows at 295 fsb so far so good. my conf wnnie CBBHD0450WPBW epox nda3j+ radeon 9000pro and some kingstone ram. HHEELLLPPP

    my disk is ide, now windows install rebooted so far so good, the weirdest thing ever, cant wait for install to finnish

    Maybe your CPU is maxing out. Even tho you can install Windows does not mean it will be stable in Windows. You can try bumping up the vcore. But it's probably better to go back to stock then inch up bit by bit till you find the max oc.

    the initial load of windows bootup is probably killing your chip (crashing your system)... bootable memtest doesnt put high load on your CPU and neither does installing windows..

    u must be joking 295 was the start, first fsb, I hate that pgUP and pgDn aint wworking in bios have to go trough all those numbers... windows installed without a problem. but will i have to install windows for every FSB change, very strange... please help, should I use a program and do it from win? i have attached a pic, still testing thouh. next screeny will be 310+ =) it shouldnt be a problem for my 3000+ winnie =)

    try 1.6 see if that helps tha's what most use at that speed or maybe ur ram timings are too tight??? insufficient volts to chipset??? or to memory???? sorry i'm brainstorming


    also in your 2 diff screenshots did you up the v.core or is it fluctuating???

    It has something to do with lan, it looks for the some mac adress, I disabled onboard lan now, will se how it goes...

    OK check this out, if I have 295x5 it wont boot, but if I have windows CD in the CD-ROM it boots and its prime stable !!!!!!!! Anyone PLEASE HELP

    That just means your install is prob corrupt, if it doesn't work without the cd, prime stable is useless. I've been in the same situation on nforce2 abit board, your not gonna have the cd in there ALL the time though are u? hehe
    ALIENS are bringing my next kentsfield based rig in a UFO case!

    please some more info fareastgq, well its not like booting from cd, it goes u wanna boot from cd. I dont do anything then it boots wwindows, please more info...
