I'm sooo tired... Catching up with you Kevin is exhausting

This is all I can do in SuperPI 16M without dropping multiplier. I just can't keep that Winnie stable at anything higher than 2.72GHz wit cooling I got

    SuperPI 16M @ 339x8=2712MHz DDR678 7-3-4-2.5-1T (Click image for full-size version)
    CPU-Z Verified #5642

Then, first run after multiplier was dropped to x7 ...

    SuperPI 16M @ 340x7=2384MHz DDR680 7-3-4-2.5-1T (Click image for full-size version)
    CPU-Z Verified #5645

    And my latest 16M

    SuperPI 16M @ 345x7=2415MHz DDR690 7-3-4-2.5-1T (Click image for full-size version)
    CPU-Z Verified #5666

Uff.... I've never benched SuperPi this much in such a short time

Tommorow I'll try to get better 16M and maybe get closer to you in SuperPi 32M

I hope that others will find this thread not only entertaining but also useful. Getting timmings right might be tricky...

This "friendly competition" seems like two friends at the gym pushing each other ...

Very nice indeed...not so healthy like the gym , but great for sure!

    Amazing thread :P

Anyone doubt why OPB is a Gskill rep?
In short, both AMD and NVIDIA discovered that their next-generation graphics cards are superior to each others' last-generation graphics cards.

I have been trying to catch them , still more burn in needed, but seem to be making some head way (slowly) Can't make Cas2.5 plays ups @342 atm.
This shot was set in the bios and booted windows.

    Cheers

OPB, do u do most of your overclocking in windows or in the bios? I imagine it might be harder to set in bios. Great results btw.

well, if I could add something about that...
in my case, 345x8 is totally bootable and I think OPB did the same thing... mem settings are changed straight in the BIOS.

I will try to add something to this thread later on... so far I need this PC to run D2OL for a while

    Hi guys

I can't match the low latencies these 2 guys are getting with their ram, but the G.skill PC4400LE 2x256mb I'm running has been an incredible pair never -the- less. I wish i could get my hands on a pair of PC4800 as it seems you are capable of maintaining lower latency at higher HTT, moreso than I can.

Anyways, here is the first shot in a series of 16M SuperPi's I've run. The next few are in territory that has not been mentioned in this thread yet

    Great job OPB and Bachus

    Randi
