skate2snow is lucky with his financial situation - I got 2 lousy jobs that bring in $200 a month: not exactly over kill is it? Next year should change, going up to floorball 1st senior league, some minor rewards and equipment should minimize expenses on sticks (ca. 1 per 2months -$100 a piece ).

Hope you have fun with your new Intel 640 setup, looks like I'm going for a 3,4ES unless I can get the new 630 for ~$200

And finally get a WORSE card - I'm getting a FX5900, to kill under phase-change in the summer. The card is doomed to death now, I want to get 1500+ with it

btw, sorry about your X850XT, you should have gotten a X850XT PE Time to eBay it with a FAT reserve
In short, both AMD and NVIDIA discovered that their next-generation graphics cards are superior to each others' last-generation graphics cards.

Just friendly advice sir, I was not making fun of you but just pointing out that your cpu tests in 3dmark 2001 are very, very low for your cpu clocks. 131 car high at 3GHz doesnt sound right, im sorry to say. I wont be telling you again but you are free to ask us for help anytime, the pleasures mine. I also mentioned you could go thru more cards *if* you feel like it. I have gotten dogs too and just ebayed em

The previous owner of my X850 XT NON-PE had it at 690/640 on an Exos with Maze 4 block and only GPU voltage mod, I'm hoping for at least those speeds with my Silverprop Fusion HL, I'll post my results here when I get my new AMD rig up in a couple weeks.
