The bios greatly improves working with tccd.
My twinmoss is only good to 480.

Just purchased this board for about $111

, unfortunately before reading this thread. Anyway I would be happy to get the latest bios from you tictac and can't figure out how to get it off your site. Thx for any help - oh and the board isn't suppose to arrive until march 1st.

It actually is a good overclocker except for the vdimm.
Hope we can a vdimm mod and maybe a vcore up in bios.
For those using phase change.
For a fast stock board with limited overclocking get it definitely.
With a vcore and vdimm mod this board will rock at 1:1.

ill use a 3200+ 0448SPAW + 1gig of (lastest bacth) OCZ 3200 plat. Rev2
2.6-2.8Vdim is ENOUGH

280x10 should be nice

If you can flash this board with a fatality bios, and the hardware is the same, then I reckon you could do a chipset mod to enable the features of the Ultra chipset (I.E. Sata II and the hardware firewall). I posted about it here:

I'm ordering my fatality this week. I wanted to throw this up in the air to someone to check as I have done this mod before. there is a lone capacitor between the cpu socket and ddr dimm. If im correct it should be an easy vdimm mod for this board you can run a direct line from back of atx connector 3.3v pins on back of MOBO to that capacitor( i usually put a switch inline myself so i can shut the mod off when i want to). This in most cases will drop your 3.3v line to 3.2v and give you 3.01ish at the ddr dimms. Obviously you will need a modded 3.3volt line on your psu to go higher if you want.
Obviously Do not do this mod till you have measured voltage at that capacitor on the backside of mobo with the mobo on. If im right it should read 2.6-2.8 at the backside of that capacitor. Anyway if someones brave they can at least confirm for us that there is ddr voltage at that cap if not i will be doing it myself as soon as board arrives. Obviously someone has to do it anyway before we can ask tic tac to make a volt modded bios for the board to make sure its stable.

ok... good news is.. i just received confirmation from ABIT Indonesia

they said you can use uGuru Clock accessories with an8 too

hmm the ABIT doesnt look half bad. the only downside is the low vdimm. In every other respect, it seems to be VERY stable. More so than any other board out there. If the vtt tracks after a vdimm mod, this thing will rock the house. Or Hipro's thingy comes out, this thing will definitely rock, if its compatible.

Unfortunately my credit card is maxxed and all i have is cash and the distrubutor i buy stuff off has only an an8 so i might end up with an an8 instead but volt mod should be same. I'll know by this weekend going to a computer show if the fatality is there im getting it if not i'll be coming home with an an8.
