Very nice work indeed, so close to the big 30k in 2001 as well, shame the overclocking God's could not give you a tiny bit more.

Looking forward to your Sli results next.

    Regards

I'll move on to SLI after I break 30k I haven't given up yet... but thought I should call it a day.... I think there's a few more volts left in that card...

Holy Crap Congratulations! First man in the world to break 11K with a 6600GT

Simply crazy! I think I might be able to challenge you in 05, in 03 your CPU gives 30 more FPS in GT1. You're not too far from 30K eh?

Must say that your CPU is more amazing than the GFX though

Either way, I'll give you a run for it in 05, 03 looks like I'll need to upgrade to a FX-57 when they come out
In short, both AMD and NVIDIA discovered that their next-generation graphics cards are superior to each others' last-generation graphics cards.

I actually haven't tried the other card yet.. it may do just as well. They are a "matched" pair with consecutive serial numbers ^_^. I'm going to up the volts tonight and do all 3 benches again. If I can't improve my scores by much I'll move on to using both in SLI.

The card is idling in the 20'sC and load is in the mid 40'sC. I can run the monitoring in Riva to be sure. I don't know why people always put down the Koolance. It looks good and may have only 1/4" but it does the job. When I had it in a CPU GPU loop with my FX55 and XT PE I was close to 38000 in 2001. With it cooling just my XT PE, I handily broke 40k. There are definitely better watercooling solutions, but I'm happy with it as it's been my first and only watercooling.

Haha your best bet is to ask the experts here. There aren't too many secrets to 03 and 05. Just pump up the card clocks and let her rip. 2001 on the other hand requires a lot more tweaking for the cpu and memory timings.

One thing you can try is Shamino's pencil mod here http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=1636&s=3

    Congrats
Thanks Mike! They'll never match your Ultras though Now I just need that bridge to get rocking in SLI

    Impressive! Pics?
Yeah I'll post some tonight ^_^

you never know if you dont try, your other 6600gt could be a real gem, might wanna see what it clocks with stock cooling to give you an idea and see if its worth modding. You may have to anyway for SLI unless you wanna run both at lower clocks, doesnt sli have to be clocked the same?

Yeah you have a point there... they need to run at the same clocks in SLI so I need to voltmod the other card anyway so I may as well give it a shot... 650/1250 is already pretty decent, I'd be pretty happy if I could get more than that!

30358! but I noticed both cars and both lobbies are down from your near 30k run. Might be worth another run or two to rectify that, never hurts to set your record even more beyond reach

I'm starting to fear for my 6800 score heh heh LOL

Phase on cpu and chilled water on gpu and everything is very happy indeed. That's a very nice setup. And the pencil of course.

Have you considered an ATi X700 as these seem slightly more muscular than the 6600GT at least in Futuremark benches?

No Ricky Tweak this time around. I'm surprised I scored that high without it. I had one of those nights where I just couldn't get stable with it so I had to run without it. That probably effected the car and lobby tests but the higher card clocks made up for it in dragothic and nature.

I'm picking one up today Andy... and it fits on my Chilly1 R507 gpu cooler
