    I received yesterday my new dothan from intel's sav, thanks a lot intel !

    It overclocks better than the first one :



    DFI855GME-MGF, BH5, P-M755 w/ IHS, Vmods vddr/vdgp, Phase Change (-30c)

    Nice, I need to get a new Dothan. My old clunker was made in June of 2004 and pulled 3.07Ghz

    Not bad for a 400FSB cpu.

    a newer shot, still on single stage, chipset with stock heatspreader, no fan, but a vdd mod Is that the fsb WR on dothan ?

    No, but the architecture is way above that of pentium 4's; dothans are far faster for clock.

    I think that the new aOpen motherboard with support for dual channel ddr/ddr2 is due to be on the shelves (online) soon.

    The 915 Aopen was expected somewhere in March.. and I think review sites will get samples first so when they do, it'll be a good indication for the Aopen coming out soon

    my "old" 1.6 dothan and DFI only just arrived at the postoffice the other day... back from RMA from early december

    not the shops fault though, DFI apparently was in no rush

    What should i expect with a (new) m735 1.7ghz + Aopen 855 ?
    ill install a sp-94 on it...
    2.4-2.5 without mod ??

    If you do the simple wire trick for the CPU.
    You'll easily hit 2.5-2.6. Without it, I dunno cos I never tested it without :banana4:
