Although I doubt this will last very long I got 28000 out of my poor old Gainward 6600GT GLH.
I manged to accidentally put 1.85v through the core ( standard 1.45v ) ..twiceand 3.9v through the 2v GDDR3 memory when I confused between the ISL 6534 and 6549, but still it came up trumps.

I've never in my life had to change the gpu MHz and gpu core voltage so much on a chip within a run to stop it getting too hot .. stupid 0.11 micron process without low k, this does not bode well for overclocking the X800XL unless cooled with water or phase.
Although this will get zapped pretty quick by people not using only air and using SLi at least I was there first.
How close was I to the limit ? It took me a week and here's a picture of dragothic on an average run. That pixel is upsetting all my green triangles![]()

as for those green triangles, whoa ive never seen such bad artifacts! I often run my card with a little artifacting on the ram, if it artifacts too much my performance suffers a few fps. My core tends not to artifact, it stutters if pushed too high. You said "spurrious white dot" is that gpu artifacts and why is it outside the dragothic test being run? Is that with both your cpu and gpu on air? even more amazing then! You could write in your description: single gpu, all on air!

One hell of a card, 6K in 01

, LOL
