The lot number "L40581" for example shows the lot number. I'm not too sure how they correspond, as from a friends experience with 3 CPU's (L4007X, L4007X and L402XX), the L402XX was the bset, with exact steppings.

k, so I bought a 3200+ 0440 ---- & MSI K8N Neo 2 & I think it has the old bios so it's not compatible with winnies.
What can I do? Can I flash the bios with the winnie or is it possible 2 flash it without a CPU ;D?
