    has your neo2 died before?

    this is insane.. 2nd day of using my neo2 and its dead. turned off my comp this morning, went to school, came back, tried to power on, and nothing turns on. tried all my hardware seperately and it all works.

    I searched "neo2" on the forums, and found there are several threads about ppl's neo2s dying randomly as well. WTF this is...

    FlyingHamster, its my third neo2 in a month

    the 2 boards (k0411) died like your board.
    they give me a 0409 board and its work fine but i dont wont to use it animore ( bad msi )
    so i order tne new dfi.

    it must have had some fatal flaw that got worse with use...

    mine says 0440A2 on the NB.

    im on my third neo2, the othjer two died exactly like yours did and i think the third is gone too. Sometime I can get it to boot but now it wont. W. T. F. .....! 1!!!!!

    My MSI died after +/- 1 month of usage. All of a sudden the board and the CPU were both dead. Was a pitty because the CPU (3000+ 0445SPBW) did 2850MHz on air @ 1.45v ! And I wasn't done tweaking it yet.
    Got a new mobo from RMA about 5 days later but still waiting on the CPU (almost 5 weeks now, surprised if I even get a new one).

    So I bought another 3000+ which was really crappy 2500MHz was max, and the cpu wouldn't work with the 166 divider at all so I sold it and got me this CPU which is a pretty good one 0450 TPBW

    Been reading the forums for a while but this is my first actual post

    I only had mine for about a month, but never had a single problem with it. I've heard that many of the early boards suffered from failures. I can't quite remember the serial number range that had bad failure rates though.

    What about running it like 24hours stock before you overclock it?

    And did you guys get some AS5 on the NB? because there is almost no TIM.
