Yeah 275 1t is fast for this board, but what I would really like to see is 1GB at those speeds, which I believe is impossible atm...

Gocchin: I cant remember if I asked this on another post or not, but could you take a reading of your chipset voltage with a multimeter?

Also, is that bench done with everything on the motherboard disabled? Including the network controllers?

I always undeclock the cpu first to take it out of the equation... I actually benched after that at 11x272 1:1 same timings at 1T... I'll experiment more tonight as I've only had the setup for two days....

and I only wish I could bench like shamino...

Why do you have a triple phase change?

Im stable at 300HT @ 2T. Did you guys remove your HSF on the board and change the goop. There is also an issue where the little rubber mat lifts up onto the core causing contact issues.

there is no such thing as a 240fsb wall, i can go up to 320fsb at 2T or up to 268 1T
but there do is a problem

Same here, even with the first bios revision i could do 310 2T easily but i removed the HSF as soon as i got the board, i recommend it alot!

Orig3n, what kind of HSF did you use? What about a chipset overvolt?
I've seen a mod to do this, I was wondering if it could be done by bios modding.

I don't know much about the performance of the stock cooler of this mobo, but its whining is quite unpleasant....

The chipset voltage was standard, im not sure how you would go about increasing it on this board All i did was remove the chipset HSF and fit the rubber mat which was followed by a nice application of ceramique

really? So I'll try a bit of silver 5... I couldn't believe they used a simple rubber mat...

the mat is an insulator around the core, but they stuffed up and its shifted to the left and sits up on the core screwing up thermal contact with the HSF.

I am now stable at 340HTT 2X or 330HTT 3X my chipset revision is A3

I don't know if it is my board or TCCD ram but i cannot get 1T past 250!!!!

    268 1t with 1gb or 512mb? I highly doubt you can get 268 1t with 1gb of tccd...

Is that because of the ram or the board? or a combination of the 2?

I might try the pencil mod if it can boost my 1T limit

2*512 of the famous and the best, OCZ PC3200 EL Rev2
can do 268 without errors in memtest86 but i don't use it all the time, I use 295 @ 2T 2.5-3-3-7 which is much faster

You got a screenshot of that????? And memtest is all fun and games but can you load windows and then actually do stuff?

295 2t 3-4-3-9 vs 240 1t 2.5-3-3-9 have almost the EXACT same bandwidth for me and this board... (maybe 10-30mb/sec diff, with the 240 running better)

Also, out of curiosity what CPU are you using? (people claiming over 240 1t are usually running a FX proc, although I have yet to see a 1gb 245+ 1t screenie)

I have got the 4200EL Platinum which is the 440 TCCD from OCZ's highest speedbin, so there is something amiss if you can get 268 1t and I can only do 2401t

    Questions about your "1t" speed:

    What BIOS version
    What is your Chipset Voltage
What is your VDIMM (measure with a Multimeter not fomr within the BIOS, cause for me when I set BIOS to 3.0v it actually runs at 3.18v)
