    Highest a64 3700 screenie?

Say guys can you help me out here. Who own the highest screenie on the 3700? I believe Kunaak was pretty close to 3.3ghz but I cant say if that was the highest - If so then perhaps I´ve got something to take a shot at.

OCDB only lists the 3293MHz of Kunaak, so I think he had the highest clocked A64 3700+...

Go for the WR screenie bias_hjorth! I know all the top guys bench FX-55's now, but I think if one of them threw a cherry 3700+ under a cascade, we might see 3300Mhz+ benchable

Some do 2900MHz benchable on air....

    sai : Indeed I would

Twilius_basic: I´m gonna try but his dry-ice screenie is going to be hard to beat on a single stage.

My 3700+ was 3d and pi stable at 3240 with 1.84v and -75c or so..
This super pi was just to test for max benchable cpu clocks, dont have any kamikaze screenshots....

With better mem speed it is easy 27sec 1m, 26sec if I had done the unip/multi pc tweak.
    I got a 27sec1m here at only 3204mhz:

25 sec sp1m on 3700+ would be a helluva score...

Hehe well if you still have the cpu I´ll say give it a shot of some kind of supreme cascade - Say how fast was your mem running to attrieve 27 sec?

    Week 49 mobile A64 3400+ from excaliberpc
The same guy also PM'd me saying he had a screenshot of 2900MHz... and this is with a SHIM between CPU & HeatSink!!
Im sure with a high speed fan, more vcore, and XP120 or similar it would do even better...
Sorry though, I did say benchable and it looks like 2900MHz was not quite benchable with his cooling.

Get over the damm SS guys.

    Riddle me this?

Why is it that the Jap's or the World Class overclockers 99% of the time I see run almsot a 1m at what there MAX SS is? But then some of you guys "COUGH" do stuff like 3000mhz winnie shots in -20c weather, but bench and ru at 2.7ghz??

300mhz is huge?. I've ran some huge clocks on AMD into the 3500mhz+ range and I won't lie I couldn't take a 3600mhz+ screenie, but I could loop super pi and pifast at 3550mhz "crazy"

Its jsut too big a diff from "REAL LIFE" guys..

Do some pifast/super pi as I would be impressed by a "WHO HAS THE HIGHEST 3700+ 1M?" thread. That has meaning, but a SS thread guys, lol..

Aw, first it's not benchable, second it's not a 3700+, but a 3400+ Mobile (I know they might perform similarly, but still....)
However his is a nice chip, doing SPi @ 2816mhz with a Venus12

I'm with choseone, I prefer benches (at least Pi, but preferably 3D) rather than a pretty meaningless MHz screenshot

Has a very good point. I can screen shot @ 2.8Ghz but can only bench stably @ 2.7ghz stable. I post my 2.8ghz screen shot but I feel rather stupid as the chip won't do a damn @ that speed.

Impressive say at least. But this is xtremesystems and screenies are xtreme too regardsless of you like or not.
You´ve got a fx55 running 3550mhz? - Well congratulations - What was the cooling? Cascade / LN 2 -Now theres a 24/7 solution. Have you given the fact the not all in here are willing to spend a half arm on the cpu and the kidney on the cooling?
I find your post very offensive and a readout between the lines shows a slightly tip of showoff.

    hm... 300mhz sure is huge!

I can bench 2700mhz just fine, and post at 3ghz. Cant bench 3ghz, but it posts.

WHy? heat. That last 300mhz pushes it over the edge..... 46C... 2800-3000mhz isnt benchable, and hard to boot, but it will......

If I had some h2o cooling or dryice/ln2/cascade im sure this thing would pump out 3ghz.

    Dumbo?

Or was it that irritating little mouse with the big mouth?

I can screenie my chip at 2.9GHz on air, SuperPI at 2.8GHz and 3D at 2.75GHz. There are different levels of stability and that is just one accomplishment to the next. This place was flooded when the 6GHz barrier was broken with Intel, but it wasn't 3D stable. No one cared, it was a screenie to look at and something to ponder about what the future might hold. It's all in good fun.

LOL what a thread hijacking.....no better yet ambush :P

Lets see some more 3700 screenies dammit. I'm seriously thinking about grabbing another one to play with for awhile and I need some motivation. Isnt that what this thread is supposed to be about?

In short, both AMD and NVIDIA discovered that their next-generation graphics cards are superior to each others' last-generation graphics cards.
