    L12 mod is the mod usually done manually to a mobile or dtr chip enabling it to work in the NF7-S as well as other socket motherboards. Luckily they added a feature to the latest modded bios's that does this for you, so no physical modding for you, makes your life easier. As for the best bios? I don't have an NF7-S so I'd have to take a guess as the latest D26 Manta Ray being the best...but others who actually have experience with this bios may say differently.

    I'm running D26 at 11.5x230 with 1gb CH-5 @ 2-1/2-1-11

    1/2 is 1 for TRCD-r and 2 for TRCD-w.

    3.3 = VDIMM mod, Merlin's D26 MantarayXT modded bios.

    Disabling CPC can increase your overclock with double sided 2x512's but hurts performance.

    I run CPC enabled, not worth the performance hit.

    i assume a dimm voltmod isn't possible using just a modded bios, in the same way as you can on the 6800 series, correct?

    Does the hardware vdimm mod involve soldering, or is there a possible pencil mod? ala x800. All my voltmodding knowledge is from GPU's, lol.
