Exclamation Hard to get 3,43GHZ on stock single phase? No - but to do it with multi 10 !!!

Still waiting for my G.Skill LA to do that 1:1

So far 1:1 bench stable for getting 25sec SuperPi is this:

Stepping is 0442 / GPMW and yes - yet I use A-DATA DDR-600 but I burned them and that's the reason I have to use a divider now. They do not like high FSB anymore.

Next week I get a pair of BH-5 and a pair of G.Skill LA - then I'M going for another 1:1 clock again...........

Hey DUMO - very nice, but You know using a .5 multi causes the following:

    11,5 x 298 = 3.427 : 12 = 285,58 RAM speed

Thanks, it is ok since I can benched at 3.39Ghz and passed 100K on AM3.. http://arc.aquamark3.com/arc/arc_vie...run=1426005199
and cpu score is faster than 282x12

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!

I can't even get mine to run at 3Ghz at any voltage with chilled water and with the heatspreader off.

    Hey DUMO - did You try 10 x 339 with a mem divider 166, that's a mem frequency of 282,5.

Perhaps better performing caused by the higher HTT and more stability by avoiding a half multi.

My NEO2 maxes out at 350 HTT, but chipset is watercooled.

I have 0439korea and cooled with microcool northpole. It wont go above 304 . You got a killer neo2 there

Hey relax a little - I clocked a XP-M 2600+ on socket A up to 3.070 MHZ and now I do this here - I know it's a lot of work with many problems.

But for every problem there is a solution - You removed the IHS of a FX-55 ?

That's a risky thing - maybe You damaged something ?

Give us some more specs of Your rig - perhaps someone can help You to get higher.....

@DUMO: What kind of cooling is "microcool northpole" - air or water or something else......?

    @Onepagebook:

Hi - nice to see You here - I did bet about it...........

Big personal thanks to You - though I registered today I follow the forums for a long time and especally Your posts did help me a lot !!!

BTW - what kind of cooling do You use yet for the 3.465 on NF4 with such a low voltage? Dryice or cascade?

Cannot imagine it's a single phase with only 1,616 Vcore..........

But don't worry - it will take a few weeks and then someone writes a good BETA BIOS for MSI NEO4 with more Vcore.

Did You see the bench pictures of the DFI LP NF4 in progress? 412 HTT...!!!

I do have my own post about it but its been lost on page 2 already.

    Specs:
    Antec Neopower 480
    NEO2 (duh) 141mod bios
    FX-55 (duh) 0448 XPDW
    1GB Corsair 3200XLPT
    X800 XTPE
    Audigy 2 platinum
    WD 74GB raptor
    Seagate 160GB
    NEC 3500

Cpu and gpu watercooled with TDK and Maze4. Heatcore, res, and pump outside. Current water temp is about 55F.

I had problem with anything above 2.8 before removing the heatspreader which is why I removed it. At 14x200Mhz I have to use 1.61-1.65V to get XP to load, prime95 sometimes runs and sometimes returns a error within mins. At 3Ghz with upto 1.88V prime95 returns error right away, most games like HL2 or The Sims2 causes the computer to restart.

At stock settings my temps are about 37C/48C before and after removing the IHS. At 2.8Ghz my idel temp is the same but under load I see it reach 50C. At 3Ghz my idel jumps to 40C with under load reaching 53-55C.

At the moment I'm running 10x260Mhz with just 1.3V and prime95 has been running for almost 2 hours.....

Hi dude..nice to see you too!

actually, msi neo2 can do over 400htt too if I am not wrong.
I will have DFI board for detail test on either Thursday or Friday.

I saw a lot of NEO2 boards which maxed out at 300 - 320 HTT - all on air.

So I decided to get the chipset under water, unfortunatly I never tried air cooling so I have no real compare.

But maybe it will help You - try to get a second hand WC for less money and put it on Your chipset............

    @Onepagebook:

More than 400 HTT with a NEO2? 1,616 Vcore for almost 3,5 GHZ on NEO4?

Did you put a 3-steps-cascade on Your CPU and a single phase on the chipset..........???
