    Pics of a watercooled SLI-System

    Are there any pics of a watercooled SLI-System so far?
    i´ve already seen a phase changed one but no watercooled.. only one @ inquirer and there wasnt much to see
    System #1:

    I did run watercooling for 1 card only since the 2nd block is still Work-In-Progress. It will be done this tuesday. The temp difference is quite a lot between watercooling and stock cooling as you can see below. Note: normally the temp of the 2nd card is couple degrees lower so the temp diff is even bigger.

    Thanks guys. It is made locally by a friend using CNC machine. I have Innovatek GPU+RAM block for my 6800 Ultra AGP card but it does not fit PCIe card.

    i will get an Inovatek Cool-Matik for my 6800 Ultra soon... i have to get a dual radiator before.. what was the full load temp?

    nice work , but you must have an asus Board to use them , not enough compact.
    I suggest you to put the exits on the side or bottom of the waterblock for the second one.

    As I said before, Innovatek CoolMatic cannot fit PCIe card due to extra capacitor circled below...

    Due to brand unawareness, he is making a few block only and selling them to a few friends locally but I am sure he does not mind overseas customers if you guys are interested.

    In fact, I measured the thickness - it is <20mm and the fittings are purposedly made above the cards so they should not become obstructions.

    FYI, I did try to fit in my cards on MSI SLI sample board and it was okay.

    it would be also better for the flow if the exits are on the side .

    That's really a bit too extreme for me... as easy as it looks... worry about the warranty and card's resale value...

    H2OGun - amazing block, mate! I just think that 1/2" fitting should be better (flow reasons), but still kinda kick-ass one!!! DangerDen and Innovacrap should be ashamed How much do you ask for it anyway?

    Dissolved - solderign cap on other side has it's problems, man! I would STRONGLY WARN ANYONE ABOUT SOLDERING CAPACITOR TO OTHER SIDE OF ANY PCB!
    Why? I did it. The card stoped working. Aparently, when multilayer PCB come in game, it simply happens, that the cap has to get some contact even "inside" the hole. Believe me or not, this is very very hard to make by hand soldering I solder from my 6 years (and Im soon 30...) and I did have problems.

    Sure, there could be lucky guy that manage it w/o even knowing it, but believe me, he got more luck that mind then! For example, for space reasons I decided to replace 100Mhz switch on DFI LP B mobos by just a wire, so my NB cooler could be better. On first of my two mobos is worked flawlessly w/o a glitch. The second one I resoldered about 7 times, before it start kicking again.

    Same for FX5600XT Gigabite card. One capacitor was too close for the DangerDen Maze4 GPU cooling block, so I soldered it from the back of the card. Wrong idea. The card never worked again, till I solder the capactitor back in place - from front, using the PCB contacts rather to add wires and move it to the need distance...

    So, I doing such things, but I did not recommend them anyway. Is not better buy H2OGun cooler that the Innovacrap instead of voiding the warranty and getting into possible trouble?

    Thanks!! For the record, I bought it from a friend of mine. The guy is really good with designing and making metal stuffs with CNC machine. I have asked his permission to publish his selling price here so here goes. The 6800 waterblock 's selling price is US$80 but any payment and S&H charges are buyer's responsibility. Also, this is really made-to-order so it will take some time to get the blocks ready. The fitting thread's is G1/4 size same as Innovatek.

    P.S. MOD, please don't ban me. This is not a commercial posting!!
