    I am having same problems as you with my ATHLON64 setup

    Just been playing and cant get over 240fsb on my gigabyte mobo

    Does 235x10 (ddr470) 2.6v and 6-2-3-2 but cant touch 240x10 even with 8-4-4-2.5/3 1x512 or 2x512

    And if i try 2.8v i just get bsods

    Thing is i can run 1x256mb ch5 @ 262x11 @ 1-1 with 3.8v so mobo dont like 512mb stix i guess

    On my p4 its @ ddr500 5-3-3-2 @ 2.8v gonna try more on the p4

    Wow 310! Great Job!

    What do you think is better? OCZ 3200 Rev2, Vitesta 600 or Geil UltraX 3200? ( 2x512 )

    Anyone know if the two PQI Turbo 3200 revisions DPU and DBU use the same revision of BP PCB? It seems the platinums are a bit cheaper but is that just because the black may appear more uber to some ppl?

    hi all

    did anyone try one of the following types of memory allready?

    512MB x 2 (1GB) PC3200 DDR, CL2.5 (Corsair, TWINX1024-4400C25PT) <-- 256 euro
    or
    512MB x 2 (1GB) PC3200 DDR, CL2.5 (Corsair, TWINX1024-4400C25) <-- 258 euro

    this is supposed to be very good tccd brainpower pcb ram too...

    http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.aspx?i=2312

    a very nice review from anand

    offcourse its very possible anand got handpicked ram,
    so i was wondering if others have this ram and what u think about it?

    atm im doubting between these ram:
    512MB x 2 (1GB) PC3200 DDR, CL2.5 (Corsair, TWINX1024-4400C25PT) --> 256 euro
    2x512MB DDR RAM Corsair TWINX1024-3200XLPT --> 237 euro
    2x512MB DDR RAM G.Skill PC4400@2.5-4-4 Extreme Series Dual Channel --> 247 euro
    2x512MB DDR RAM GeIL Ultra X GLX1GB3200DC --> 249 euro
    2x512MB DDR RAM Kingston HyperX KHX3200UL --> 220 euro

    all these should be tccd
    i dont want other gskill, only their cheapest fits in my budget, rest is too expensive (270,280,300 euro)

    i wanted to use it with a winchester and an nforce 4 ultra (dfi?)

    is that cheap kingston hyperx memory really tccd? and is it any good?
    it has this code: KHX3200UlK2/1G, 1024MB 400MHz PC3200 DDR Non-ECC Ultra Low-Latency CL2 (2-2-2-5-1) DIMM (Kit of 2x512MB)

    Guys, what's up with the huge price drop for OCZ rams? The 1GB kit PC4200EL Plat is going for US$205 at excaliberpc.com today. I got it for US$352 not too long ago! Another one is the PC3200 Rev2. My friend bought it for US$273 on 30 December and the price was US$205 a few days ago! Feeling sooo tempted to get another pair of PC4200EL Plat

    guys ive been thinking...

    i have the corsair 3200XLPT rev 1.2 TCCD 256*2 its currently running at 2.85V

    i know there is a point where TCCD hates a certain voltage.. but id like to take my TCCD to 2.95V+ i would like to do the 3.3V cap mod.

    to reduce the 3.3V cap mod voltage could i lower my 3.3V psu line? my psu has adjustable pots... thanks

    ps, not sure if this is right thread?

    275fsb 2.5-3-3-5 @ 2.6 vdimm and 1.5 vagp

    400 passes of memtest #5. Priming at moment.

    Im sure these sticks have more in them, but additional voltage increases haven't given me anything higher (thats stable).
    Northbridge running extremely hot (passive cooled) so thats probably holding me back the most.

    bah after having my PDP xbl for about month and a half, and wondering why it wouldnt go above about 260 with 2.5-3-3-7 with low voltage. wanted to get to the bottom of it. although i should have done this the first day i got the ram, i just didnt :p ram memtest on both sticks @ 285 2.5-3-3-7 2.85 1 passed until i stopped, other started getting errors in 3rd pass of test #5. RMA and hope to get 2 sticks like the good one i had :/

    then put the "good" stick at 300mhz with 2.5-3-3-7 2.85v and didnt crash after about an hour of just doing random stuff (yes i know that doesnt mean its stable) then took em out to send back.

    http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mai...epox-9npa.html

    In the 8x300MHz mode the frequency of the HyperTransport bus was 900MHz (3x300MHz), and the memory was clocked at 600MHz (2.4GHz / 8). The memory timings were set to 2.5-4-4-8. By the way, among the memory modules we had at hand during our tests, only Corsair CMX512-4400C25PT could work that fast (as DDR600 SDRAM).
    again this memory is mentioned for its good performance, this time by xbitlabs

    can anyone confirm if non-picked samples of these memory are so good too?

    cause then they are alot cheaper then ocz rev2 or the better gskill sticks (259 euro <--> 280/300 euro)

    allthough i still think thats too expensive for me, i might still give em try of they are really that awesome...

    PC4800 is most expensif, and not better, and risk og have Hynix B
    Could you post "SPD" CPU-Z screen of each stick please?

    Cool

    Nice DC results. Is that memtest & P95 stable too?

    How do they do at 3.2v? Have you tried Cas 2.0 yet?
