    budget watercooling setup

In a couple weeks i'll be buying my first watercooling setup. I'm on a $200 budget (nothing more than $200 cause of shipping). Overall, this is just to cool my cpu and maybe my video card too if my budget will allow it. I would like to buy all my components from 1 website (cooltechnica, danderden, vouyermods, etc.) just so I won't have to go CRAZY on shipping. The setup will be going into my small (but kickass) Aspire X-Dreamer. I have to haul my computer around alot so I want to keep everything as internal as possible. I'm also going to be using a T-Line. I have an idea of what parts to get but I want to hear some suggestions from you guys first.

    I strongly appreciate your help.

I am building my first water-cooler here soon... as the hardware in my profile is my first build also, like yours... and we both have a mobile cpu, both have a lanparty ultra-b, both had/have z-640's, I now own X-530's because of a bad RMA proccess, we wont get involved... lol... Other than that were different, hardware wise...

I aint no pro on watercooling, but I have been hangin in these forums for a long time... And I read tons of posts, for the past month I have been in the Water-Chiller and Phase-Change section... But I decided to shut down my chiller project and just build an internal water-cooler... So heres what I gather so far...

Dangerden makes great blocks... But the white-water from D-Tek Customs is nice too... Right now, I am debating between the DangerDen TDX or a D-Tek Customs WW... Donno yet... Waitin for some replies in my thread...

www.aquastealth.com makes some nice stuff... Pump wise, and wierd named, wierd looking blocks... lol... the Sleech waterblock, WTF... I donno... lol...

But I am ordering my Pump, Tubing, and possibly my radiators from them... Cheap shipping ( At least for where I live )... so look around... Im sure you will find what you need... Im kinda worn out, I have been on the computer since 1:30AM this morning, I really havnt moved outta my chair except to get my new X-530 Logitech speakers that came today... damnit I will shut up now... Good luck with it, Hope I helped... in some small way... peace

I actually have a list of parts that i'm looking to get but won't post what they are until I get more responses. But I will say this....the Swiftech MCW6002-A looks like an incredible cpu block for a low price. Not to mention you just need to buy another bracket when changing cpu sockets.

Since no one is responding, here is a list of what I might buy:

    - DTek-Pro120 w/ PRO-120 Shroud Kit = $47.99
    - Swiftech MCW6002-A Water Block = $40.00
    - Hydor L35 = $53.95
    - Danger Den Fillport = $11.95
    - 10ft ClearFlex 60 Tubing = $11.20
    - Polypropylene "T" = $1.75
    - 12 Stainless Steel Hose Clamps 5/16" - 7/8" = $8.28
    - Zerex Racing Super Coolant = $4.50

    Total (excluding shipping) = $180

This is great cause now I have $20 left! Maybe I should use my left over money to buy a better pump?

from whereever your seeing the $50 L35 (FrozenCPU is $65 wtf?)

then from your local hardware store (trust me on this)
10' 3/8" ID tubing (I want to say around $5ish to 10' at the HW store to $13 online)
t-fitting (a dollar or less here)

    Just get the following:
    Swiftech MCW6002-A Water Block
2-302 Bonneville Heatercore... Buy a shroud from Weapon... This is what I was told... And by the looks of that thing, it looks like it cools nicely... huh?
www.aquastealth.com makes nice pumps/reservoirs... Tubing is cheap there... But I have been inormed that tubing is cheaper at lowes or walmart, ACE, someplace like that... and its true... Its only 50 Cents a foot at my Lowes, and no shipping... lol...

These are just suggestions BTW... You dont have to listen :-D

Good luck with it all... peace

No one has said anything about the list of parts I might buy.

Would this be a good setup?

yes, very good setup....from the review i read for pumps, the hydor L35 outperforms the eheim 1250...and the eheim 1250 itself is a great pump.

I am also going to be watercooling a 2600+ as well
