one more idea. how about chipset cooling. i didnt think it mattered much as the mem controller is ondie. but can it effect anything? cus the chipset is hardly making contact the the cooler

and pls how you do that give some tips as i am another owner of k8n neo2 plat and 2 mems that cant do well

well, it all seemed to go well when i set it to 2T 2.85 instead of 2-2-2-5 1T.
now at 2.5-3-3-5 2T 260mhz dual channel. i dunno how the hell "varzmaster" did 1T command rate. ile keep the thread open and see how far i can get them at 2.5-3-3-5.
remember all it was in my case was 2T

At 2T command rate I could reach higher than 270 MHz 2.5-3-3-5. Remember I was using a different CPU and motherboard... which may do a whole lot of difference. Of course it's strange how your nForce3 motherboard seems to be lagging a little bit behind the AV8 - K8T800 Pro I am using. But I think in this case the CPU is to blame. Try lowering its speed (lowering the multi down to 5x) and see how high you can go with your RAM using 1T command.

thanks budday
i run 3dmark 01 at 300mhz 1:1 dual channel. and for some reason 3dmark is saying 44mhz FSB

Nevermind 3DMark . For extended CPU/PSB frequencies info you can run CPU-Z... but there are some cases where even what CPU-Z reports is wrong (for instance the .5x or below 5x CPU multi).
So you did 300 MHz 1T 2.5-3-3-5?

2T is not for me
When i'm being paid i always do my job through.
lol nah not 1T, was 300 2T, but i wish i could run 1T, its amazing you got that.
at 1T the bandwith is huge, maybe it is because my cpu is clocked high + high FSB.
why isnt 2T not for you? lol what happened
