Oh, and btw, it's on stock cooling for now.

It's OCZ PC3200 Plat. Rev.2 TCCD. They can do better, they were relaxed in purpose.
My 3000+ winnie(0441 SPMW I think) will do SPI and pifast at 2650 ( 32 sec SPI).
I just got a new 3500+ NC ( 0438 Spew), and this hunk a junk wont even do 2530 !!
Gee I'm sure glad I bumped up to the higher multi's.....![]()
Zen2 Has brought AMD back!
very nice results qk, you got a sweet chip, and 30sec 1m is huge for air.
Just got 33s superpi 1m on the 3000+ winnie, and max 2871mhz non benchable. Should get 32s with mem 1:1.![]()
What is your memory speed @ 2871? is it 1:1?if it is not 1:1 what is it?Originally Posted by bofh
It's not 1:1, i think it was 166 divider, probably around 261. I'll reproduce it in a bit and post the right numbers. I'm trying to use the A64 Tweaker, but it's not working, i set something and it sets back the previous value. And it's showing mixed up values.
Edit: It was 133, mem at 205. Gotta try 150 divider with superpi.
Edit2: Mistakenly i was using slot 1&2 for memory, changed it to 3&4 and just got 32s.

i have a week 37 3200+, and i couldn't go higher than 225 mhz 1:1 but i decided to play with the mem divider...
now i'm running 9 x 280 on the cpu and 229 mhz on the ram. did super pi, but i haven't tested anything else. just thought i'd share with any unfortunate week 37 ppl... maybe the memory controller can't handle faster speeds. but u can always use the mem divider to increase the cpu speed only.

I picked up one of the newest winchesters i've seen the other week [0444]. Haven't had much time to test it, but so far i've had it prime stable at 255x10 with only 1.52v to the core.
I can't seem to get much past 250HTT at the moment due to all these I/O problems but i'm gonna see how far it goes as soon as they're sorted.
just got my winnie 3000 and neo2 0411 board
its a week 45 chip but i wont be able to do anything till tomorrow tho when the rest of my kit arrives

hmmm jaffa cakes
question, how do you tell what board your neo2 is?
If you mean how do you tell what chipset revision you have, you just pop off the chipset cooler and wipe off the goop. The date codes and revision are on the chip itself. If you are not sure what you are looking at just post a pic and we will let you know.Originally Posted by DevilsRejection
how wasy is it to pop off the chipset cooler? any particular tools i need?
squeeze 2 pushpins and off it pops , so easy even a 5yr old could do it![]()

I wish you loads of luck
Just tried today a 3000+ CBBHD 0445 RPMW (same stepping tho'), didn't even want to post at 2.7GHz wit 1.6V.
Now I'm running a CBBFD 0444 TPMW at 2.7GHz 1.6V aircooled prime95 stable.![]()

A big "f#$k you" to epox for their extremely low BIOS voltagesWill switch maybe to AV8.

Quick question.
If I use the 1.41b bios, or any, then the vcore is always .5 higher in the bios, than in reallife. Correct?

You mean .1 ?
