1.36 BIOS - the only thats let 1.65v?

My question to YOU IS: My CPU temp has never gone above 42C with my Zalman 7700 CU and every day its cooler and cooler as thermal paste enters more and more microscopic gaps...

Winchester 3000+. I am running BIOS 1.51b and overvolt by 10%. That SUPPOSEDLY gives 1.7v, but really it gives 1.6v...

I get a 2400Mhz overclock stable at that speed.

Is it SAFE to try 13% with 1.36b BIOS? 1.65v? Or all the way to 1.7v?

As long as your temps are fine, there's no harm. Although most people hit crazy stuff with 1.65v max or so, I've tried 1.7v myself but only for a limited time. The other bios' dont' have working +xx% switches, only the 1.3b6 does.

Looks like I reached my 2.4Ghz at 1.63v..

I like the 1.2 BIOS, it allows for straight up voltages up to 1.74 for me....the only bad things is that it doesn't handle high HTT too well....perhaps a mod is in order .

I am just wondering, from 1.37~1.41mod
I all can do over 1.86v
My way is like set 1.5 in bios + 3.3%
then get in windows use core center all the way up
and finally you use NF3 Clock-gen add 0.05v...it's about like 1.9v

that's the only way to get that 1.85v - 1.9v no matter what BIOS... that's how i do it too :thumbsup:
