    Abit AS8 mods

    anyone know how to do VAGP mod for this mobo

    Hi there you guys.........

    I'll upload pretty soon a guide "how to" about "ABIT AS8 ALL IN ONE Modifications"........It will consists of : (more) VCore , Vdroop , Vchip(Northbridge) , Vfsb , Vagp , e.t.c......VERY easy mods(except the Vfsb which needs to unsolder a resistor and solder another one)........STAY tuned.....

    How the heck do you get your grubby little hands on so much hardware...lol.

    I would love to be working on new boards and what not...sigh. One day I will graduate and will stop being poor. College is fun, but it kills a mans wallet. Last semester cost me 600 bones...for just the books.

    NO problem with the VTT track.........They have a build in IC that tracks the Vdimm and fixes the VTT........It was about time to change this thing.......

    someone have to mod Abit AS8 bios first

    i got E0 today and but 1.4v from bios... idle voltage is 1.2v and it raise 1.4
    on stress

    i can not disable that thing from bios

    but first day driver without ing PATCH

    There is a lot of work having to be put in to make a modding guide for a mobo such as hipro's IC7 mods guide on thelab.gr (I think thats it anyway) Great guide and Im sure that the guide for the AS8 would be of the same high standard. Just takes time thats all. Im sure hes a very busy man

    Try having your Vcore set to 1.43 in the bois and then checking it with a multimeter, only to find out it's at 1.34 @ idle and 1.30 @ load.
