    Ati Radeon 9700 Pro AIW Europe PAL BIOS !!!

    Does anyone have a European PAL BIOS for 9700 Pro AIW ?
    I really need it cause i can`t run my tuner, it`s brought from the US and isn`t working in Europe`s Pal strandard..
    I need a BIOS in order to run the tuner!

    Use flashrom to save your bios from card. Then use radedit and change setting from NTSC to pal, save it and flash it. Done

    Can you explain the jumper`s position ?

    my card has a jumper near the VGA connector which is labled "JP1 TV" 1-2 = NTSC, 2-3 = PAL.. :S

    If ever you still need I have one of these boards in PAL. I can plug it in and figure how to save the bios if you give me the apps and commands to do it.

    But arent the tuner components different for PAL?

    There should be a switch jumper on the card, you need to switch that and (maybe) flash the bios as well.
    My last card from the US just needed the jumper moving.
