that is what I was afraid of. Me getting sticks like that. I think I would cry. Try as Tony suggested, ramp up slowly and be sure to have enough volts AND cooling when doing so. I hope you get better results my friend.

BH5 always used to get better with age so dont be too disappointed with your results, they are only virgin sticks. Leave them running overnight and see if they improve... do you have a fan over them?

    Theres an offical thread .

If he was running 247 before and now cant get 250 it might have something to do with the fact hes running a whole gigabyte at 1t on the DFI board .

    ;-)

Another thing is with one error a pass I bet that will go away after some burn in , no problem . Just benchmark it for a while at those speeds and higher , then it should calm down . Eva was having the same thing happen
OCZ employee and proud of it.
If you have actually personaly experienced a problem with a OCZ product that was not solved quickly by our wonderful support staff I would like to know. Feel free to PM
    Thanks

    I am overclocked!

Gold VX love a bit of a burn in for at least 6-24hrs at a time and remember these modules are warrantied to 3.5v -/+ 5% = 3.675v vdimm max so also try 3.6v vdimm and see how far you go.. with cooling of course

i never did memory burn ins or believed in them before until trying Gold VX - i used the method outlined at http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/show...&threadid=1860 - i burn in at the speed of ram with tightest timings where memtest errors occur like 3-10 every 2-30 passes for at least 6-15hrs

first arrival 2x 512MB Gold VX on P4C800-E
    228mhz 2-2-2-6 at 3.5v max PASSED
    233mhz 3-2-2-6 at 3.5v max PASSED
    240-250mhz 3-2-2-6 at 3.5-3.7v all have 10,000 of errors

burn in 6-15hrs at a time for 3-5 burn in sessions as outlined at http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/show...&threadid=1860 and now i can do 240mhz 3-2-2-6 at 3.6v error free/PASSED and 250mhz 2.5-2-2-5/3-2-2-8 at 3.6-3.7v has like 1-3 errors every 15-35 passes in memtest86+ v1.40

I'm working on more burn ins to aim for 250mhz 3-2-2-8 error free for P4C800-E at least before testing AMD64 hehe

Why are you running it in CAS3? Where did 250 Mhz @ 2-2-2-5 go

Gold VX is optimised for AMD64, if you read i'm using Intel P4C800-E board which does 228mhz to 2-2-2-6 and cas3 and cas2.5 allows the ram to clock higher on Intel boards

Also CAS 2, 2.5/3 don't mean much performance wise.. i'd rather have 250mhz 3-2-2-6/8 then 240mhz 2-2-2-6 regardless of platform
