Winchester 3200+ or 3500+: Whats better for oc?

i have a 3500+ winchester @ 2,8ghz 1,65v running on abit av8
in all threads the 3200+ is better to oc than the 3500+ winchester,
with which I have more chances the crack the 2,8ghz @1,6v stable? 3200+ or 3500+?

That all depends. If the 3200+ has a Leprechaun in the plastic thing that holds the cpu in place in the retail box. The 3500 seems to overclock just alittle farther *sometimes*. So I'd either get the 3200 since its cheaper, but if money doesn't matter get the 3500. Yeah 2.8ghz is possible with these things, but aim for 2.6ghz @ first so you don't lose hope if it can't do 2.8ghz

I don't understand why he would even think of buying a 3200+ if he already has a 3500+ @ 2.8. I guess he could take his chances with the 3200+ and hope the Leprechaun is inside the box, but when's the last time you actually saw a Leprechaun? I haven't seen one in at least 3 months.

If your just trying to try out another Winchester, then get the 3200, you already have a 3500 so it'd give you a better idea on how different chips do. I know it changes from chip to chip but it can't hurt to try out another kind of chip.
are you wanting to mess around with higher volts and just don't want to risk that 3500 @ 2.8ghz?
