DDR600 2.5-3-3 1T with Corsair TWINX XL in Lanparty!

    Here we go

    AMD A64 3200+ 1MB L2 CG stepping S754
    DFI Lanparty UT nF3 250Gb

Corsair TWINX XL 512MB with Samsung TCCD

    31sec with a S754 A64 3200+, my personal new record for now.

The sandra is now 4667MB/s for single channel, wondering will it break 9000MB/s if on dual channel.

What voltage did you need for 300 @ 2.5,3,3,x ??! Assuming thats 1:1 yes?

2.9V is all it needs. Sure it's 1:1, see the sandra memory mark, 4667MB/s is very high for single channel in S754.

I didn't take reference from Oskar Wu's tips on TCCD's setting. In fact I tweak my TCCD based on the best setting for Hynix D43 which I posted awhile ago.

You shall take a look at Oskar's tip on TCCD first (which is quite similar to my Hynix's tip). But to reach DDR600 2.5-3-3 you need to relax the max async to 8ns in BIOS or A64 Tweaker, this is the only setting Osaka overlooked. Very little performance is lost but you got much more stable at DDR600 while Trcd = 3. If it's still not stable enough you might try adding Vdimm to 3.0V which does help a little.

I don't mind sharing this little secret with you guys, here's internet and we all shall share our wealth of knowledge.

By the way, not all TCCD are equal, nor's the PCB, not all are going to hit DDR600 2.5-3-3 1T easily. In fact of the 2 TWINX XL only one is stable enough for some benchmark. The other one I'd tweak it more or relax some other timings to see if it'd do that too.

For those interested, my 3200+ is watercooled.

I was able to run my tccd chips at 300 with those timings.
But i didnt gain anything in sandra or pi, all i gained was a very unstable computer =)

    Tras 3 ? Not 6 or 7 ?

    Try 2.5-4-3-7 a run.
Think you get same result but very stable computer.

I get the same results in Sandra with 2.5-4-3-7 and 2.5-3-3-7 on my OCZ PC4400 EL Gold at DDR500.

I'll try an Asynch of 8ns when I get the Corsair to test out my m8's PC.

with my pqi's, i tried 2.5-4-3-7 @ ddr600, it did make it a lot more stable, too bad i can't get it to prime for that long.

anyway, here's a sandra screenshot at those speeds.

I think asynch of 8 or 9 should be prefered at those speed.
Volts over 2.9 should be used when you go 310FSB and beyond, but getting it stable over 310 seems impossible to me.
