    post your wichester oc results

heard great results so far. 2.6-2.7ghz with stock coolers seems to be a common thing, thats 100-300mhz better than the average 130nm nc and ch's oc afaik.

    please post your results!

Maybe it´s because you wrote Wichester, i don´t think anybody has any of those

Seriously though, likely there aren´t so many out yet.

I am curious also though, if you got one by all means let us know your results.

Mine is a week 35 3200+. Top stable clocks so far 2300MHz w/default voltage and 2550MHz w/1.60v. I'm using a maze3 WB with a little giant 475gph pump and fullsize auto radiator.
The temps i'm getting aren't all that great, at max clock it gets upto 55c.
I did remove the IHS but had poor contact (maze3 WB's are big) so i lapped the IHS and applied AS5 to the core.
The IHS was indeed very concaved on mine so a lapping should show an improvment for most anyone.
All i have ATM is BH-5 and this thing hates it!
I'm going to order some TCCD today and i have the feeling it should help me out. I'll update when i get my new ram.

    One page book,

    1. what cooling are you using and if it is TCCD or Phase Change, what can you get out of it on stock heatsink

    2. What differences did you find between the 130nm and the 90nm, assuming you tried them both?

    3. I saw it get its $#% kicked at MadShrimps by a 3200+ 90nm at 2.5 Stock (not a joke, link below)

    http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticle&articID=230

What do you say to that?

Extremely Curious about your 3500+ Winchester results - Perkam

perkam, it doesnt get its a** kicked , geez, calm down dude. it just shows that the 90nm parts are slightly faster than the 130nm parts, and yes id also like to hear what results you got with both chips kevin

do the 90nm parts scale better and the speed increases even more compared to their 130nm brothers when you oc them to 3ghz? do you have a 130nm score@3ghz you could run again with the same setup now but with a 90nm cpu at 3ghz and see how big the difference is? and it looks like the 90nm parts give memory bandiwth a boost as well!

thx for posting all your results, especially you kevin

I switched out the BH-5 for OCZ3200 plat rev2. (3200+) 260x10 stable is in the bag now... I think i could bench higher but i'll wait a while and switch to a TDX WB and remove the IHS once again.
