What's wrong with my 2k3 score?

In short i'm just wondering why my friend and his 2.4@3.2 with mildly oc'd 6800u 128mb can out score my 2.8@3.4 with my 9800xt 256mb@420/372? My comp is also running 1:1 ratio and his 5:4 if that helps anymore. I'm scoring just below 7k and he's getting over 11k in 3dmark 2k3. In 3dmark 2k1 i'm getting over 20k to his 18k.

Because the 6800 is a way better video card.. 3dmark 03 is mainly video card, 3dmark01 is whole system influenced. Do you know much about the architexture of 9800 vs new gen cards? the 9800 has 8 pipelines, and the 6800u has 16... he should be getting a way better score than you in 2k3, 7k isnt bad for your setup.
