oc-rookie came up with this idea to unite the two Xtreme teams (and maybe the islanders would be up for it too). Basically if we united, the Xtreme name would go out as the number one or two producing team and easily in the top 5 overall.Please provide your input. I am very new to the team, I don't know who led the original team, but I know who leads our team now. If we can provide some numbers for the leaders to see as far as opinions it may stop or start more of an effort unite and finish top 3 or 5.
If someone at XS is willing to start a poll there as well, it would make sense. Let's see what these 2 teams are all about with poll numbers.
It would be under a neutral nickname, say "Xtreme". We would put aside all hard feelings and just be one for a little while. This would just be for this project.
Maybe in the future we could have one Xtreme Distributed Computing team for whichever project we go to, but that isn't what this topic is for.
BTW, I know a lot of you hate discussing this and just want it to go away, so I am sorry this is being brought up again, but I seriously hope you'll consider this.
