All right so if you have a high quality ln2 pot made with 99.9% ofc copper and you retire for 7 years....your pot is neglected and corrodes badly.
In my case my pot is designed to hit the lowest temps possible. It is not tuned to maintain temps of a coldbug cpu. That would require a completely different design with more mass. You can get away with less mass with 99.9 ofc as it is denser...at a significantly higher cost...
That said in order for it to be the most effective it needs to be clean.
Long story short here is the simple cleaning method.
Toss a cooking pot on your stove. Remove all insulation off your ln2 evaporator. Buy some " cleaning vinegar" acidity is 6%. Fill evap to the top of copper level. Boil vinegar in evap. Do not breathe in fumes.
End result.
