Kinda sucks they took the WiFi part out.

I use my wifi everyday with my wife's Axim and my notebook.

sucks having to DL a Tinker then when its done have to reset my cable modem and wait around till its DLed and has UL a new work unit to my notebook, then have to reset again to get desktop to the internet. Wifi makes it seamless and easy.

sweet info thanks and let everyone know on the locks

did everyone with the other version have a greenish background box? The ones we got in stock AGES ago, right when they came out were these same white boxes, with wi-fi stuff. Actually was gonna ask when i think opp showed pic of his box in some thread.

Mine does say wireless edition on though, but where that picture is, says wireless edition a bit left and down of the partly shown A8V box name.

If it says wireless edition or Wi-Fi on the box, it isn't 2.0.

I think zip zoom has some:

    http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=240412

I can't swear to it, but I spoke to them and this #240412 one is NOT the wireless according to them. It should be 2.0. They have the wireless marked 240410 id #. Good luck.

Results?, I've got your results right here. D.O.A., yes D.O.A.!Somehow I expected more. Is it really too much to ask that things work? No post, No nothing. Put the 1.02 back in and back to normal. blah . .

Oh well, a replacement will be here Monday. I can't remember the last time I got a new piece of hardware that worked properly the first time.

man.... I'm gonna buy one from Mwave on Saturday and I hope it's not DOA too. The rev 2.0s are the ones w/out Wi-Fi correct and are the newer ones that just came out.

I like my A8V but it dont lock the AGP/PCI, and i need some OC because I work in 3D and to render the CPU is everything, I can wait about 1 or 2 weeks but then I have to go forward and buy a mobo that alows me to OC, because i have a big work coming and I have to deliver it at a stated period.

Do you have the Rev 2.0 without the Wi-Fi? Those are supposed to come with locks.

If you have the Rev 1.02, some people report there locks working by flashing a beta bios. I'm not sure which one though..... iboomalot knows more than I do because he as a 1.02 flashed and his locks apparently work.
