Hynix BFR to be exact, not surprised they have issues above 2600. Can they tighten down to 9-11-10 at 2400?

they refuse to boot @ 9.11.10 with any volts
needs 1.85v for 9.12.11 to boot fine in windows. havent test them fo stability though. they dont like tighter timings.
in aida @ 2400
cl 9.12.11=54 latency 1.90v
cl 11.12.11=57 latency 1.60v
edit
125 they booted up to 2666 with 1.85v and vccsa to 1.25v from stock volts. but not stable
need more vdimm and cooling

Got in new old stock of ADATA 2200C9 2x2GB from eBay today. With those specs (9-9-9) I expected BBSE. This is what was under the hood:
Clearly B-die, but no white stripes makes them BBBG. So I now have four sticks of Elpida 1Gbit BBBG which seems to be as rare as a non-crazy beautiful virginal 20-something woman.

Old Team extreem kit. BBSE??
This is the best picture i could take of the ic, they have no white text, its hard to read.

The label E917A8B09402 (#27), white stripes on the chips and the specification 1000 MHz 9-9-9 @ 1.65V indicate they're indeed BBSE chips.
Thanks Don, I read that page, but I clearly missed that info, my bad...
Thanks for all this memory info, you guys do a greate job updating and giving all this info..
cheers

Hi guys, what chips do you think the new vengeance pro 2133 9-11-11 have?
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengean...y8gx3m2b2133c9
They are cheap in Sweden, might pick some up for fun if they are not single sided.
Overclocking, it's a lifestyle
From the pic showing in your link they certainly look to be single-sided. Note the nearly solid row of SMCSMC just above the gold contacts & compare that to any double-sided modules that you have on hand and you'll clearly see the difference. As for chips, I'd say probably Samsung but of course could also be Hynix.

Lots of options. Most likely are Micron D9QBJ or Samsung 4Gbit B-rev, but they can also be Hynix/Samsung 2Gbit or (extremely unlikely) Hynix 4Gbit MFR.
EDIT: added Micron D9QBJ information to OP.

Thanks reefa, sam and don_dan Doesn't seem like anything worth trying then... maybe I should just stick with my Corsair 2666 C10s lol
